Inn is located in a very convenient and very walkable area of downtown Annapolis. The accommodations are cozy and welcoming and the Innkeepers are pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast. Off- street parking is a big plus in crowded Annapolis

Room Tip: Inn is very clean, small bathrooms, but had two separate rooms - one for shower and toilet. Two sinks in room.

Hope you enjoyed your visit to Annapolis. It is such a charming town and we love being here and try to pass that warmth for the town on to our guests.

Like others who have posted comments here, we selected The Flag House Inn based upon TripAdvisor reviews. The Inn, and hosts Bill and Charlotte, truly deserve all of the accolades you will read here.

Location played a large role in our choice. A visit to the Naval Academy was a priority for this visit. Nothing could be more convenient than an inn where you can stand on the front porch and see the Academy gate just a few yards away. Not only is the inn at at Academy's front gate, it is also just a short walk to the City Dock and all of the dining and shopping you could desire.

The inn itself is lovely. Our room was beautifully decorated in an oriental motif. The furnishings were quite comfortable; almost as comfortable as home. I was impressed by the antique furnishing displays throughout the house. Every piece probably has a story. I am sorry that I did not take the time to ask Bill or Charlotte to share some of those stories.

Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 each morning. Within that framework guests may eat according to their own schedule. On both mornings of our visit all of the guests arrived at breakfast at nearly the same time. We gathered around the dining room table and enjoyed great food and stimulating conversation. It was both fun and fascinating.

If you select The a Flag House Inn for your visit to Annapolis you will be making a very good decision - it is just right!

We chose to stay at this inn first because of the excellent reviews that it has received, second because it is located in downtown Annapolis and within walking distance of where we wished to visit and third because it offers free off-street parking and free wi-fi. Upon arrival, we were greeted most cordially by Charlotte. We stayed in the Far East Room and were entirely satisfied with it. We really liked the fact that the inn has sitting out areas for guests; on our first night, we spent some time in the tastefully furnished lounge area downstairs while on the second night, one of us spent a pleasant period out on the porch chatting to two of the other guests. Bill and Charlotte were wonderful hosts and gave excellent advice about the local area. One of us is interested in the preservation of historic buildings and had a most interesting conversation with Bill whilst we were enjoying a delicious breakfast. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and thought that it was good value for money. We would most certainly stay here again if we were visiting Annapolis.

Room Tip: Those who find stairs difficult would probably prefer a second floor room.

What a great time we had meeting both of you and having lots of time to talk and share thoughts and stories with each other. Flying the Irish flag during your stay added beautifully to the array of flags flying across the front porch. We thank you for your kind words about our B&B and hope our paths will cross again one day.

We were made most welcome by Bill and Charlotte who were perfect hosts. The room was extremely comfortable and Flag House Inn is perfectly situated to explore Annapolis. All the accessories are of good quality and there are many thoughtful features. Our only regret is that one night wasn't long enough.

One night is better than never getting to Annapolis and staying with us at Flag House Inn. Having the Union Jack flying from the front porch is not only a treat for us and for you but also for the many people who walk by each day and stop to identify the flags. Maybe one of these days you will get back this way and have more time to explore our lovely town and historic district.

Such a great place to stay while visiting Annapolis! The Flaghouse is in a great location right near the water next to the Naval Academy. Easily accessible to everything downtown! As for the hosts, Charlotte and Bill were wonderful. Took the time to explain the area to us and recommend things to do and places to eat. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends!

What more can I say than thank you for your lovely words about our Flag House Inn. We always enjoy having folks from NC stay with us as that is a state that is near and dear to our hearts after living there for almost 30 years. We would love to have you stay with us again and hope you can do so sometime when you find yourselves in Annapolis again.
