“Great location”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

Very quiet room despite hotel being on the corner of two major roads. The rooms at the back of the hotel are very quiet maybe due to the fact the outlook is the cemetery. Good breakfast as always with the Express hotels. Within walking distance of the local Mall and good eating houses. Very clean rooms and all friendly staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel

Easy access to/from the highway and within 15 minutes of the Maryland Renaissance Faire. Parking is plentiful. Within walking distance to a trendy eating and shopping area that seemed very safe at night, we were able to get dinner and pick up some forgotten travel supplies without leaving our hotel parking spot.

The free hot breakfast was decent though the pancake machine sounded like a copier and one of my friends said the pancakes tasted like paper so maybe it really was a copier? :)

The room and queen size beds were comfortable though the bathroom was poorly designed with a modern bowl sink too big for the space and very little counter room.

I would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly--from the front desk stafff who checked us in to the breakfast staff who stocked the breakfast bar. Room was clean and smelled good, and beds and pillows were comfortable. Lots of parking. Stayed for 5 nights with no complaints. We would stay here again.

Myra is the BEST!! We arrived at 1am after a 4 hour delay in our flight from the West Coast. They endured my endless calls to be sure our room wasn't 'given away' and Myra welcomed us enthusiastically when we finally arrived. Our room - a suite - was perfect for our week vacation and my 20yr reunion. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large with a Jacuzzi. The coffee and tea are hot and ready 24 hours. We used the exercise room three days and were so thankful to have it (two elliptical machines and one treadmill, plus free weights and filtered water - and a TV to pass the time). We also used the free washer & dryer (there's a nominal charge for soap and dryer sheets). Having a hot breakfast ready each morning meant we could eat quickly and get on with our day. There were hot biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and a pancake maker. The free Wi-Fi was helpful to find 'What to do in DC when the Gov't is Shutdown'. Will definitely stay here for the next reunion!

Room Tip: Suites are the way to go! Try to get a 2nd floor room if you are a non-smoker.

This is the second year that we stayed here during the Power Boat show. It's not within walking distance to the docks but it is easy on/off from Route 50. The staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean, comfortable and everything works. The free internet is a nice bonus. The free breakfast is good and better than I've had in more expensive hotels.Genevieve was friendly and helpfull.

I was at this location for a month and had a great stay. The staff were very helpful when ever I needed something. It was nice to have a smiling face to greet me when I would arrive from work.
At breakfast every day during the week Belen would always make my day with her smile.
Mariah Vaughan the General Manager was very helpful anytime I asked for something.

Don't stay here. Rooms smell and tv doesn't work. No one on staff to repair tv. Front desk clerk asked me to unplug tv and make sure it's on hdmi1? What? Really? Why would having it on hdmi1 have anything to do with the remote Controll and tv not communicating. Accessing the hotel from the roads is a nightmare! You have to exit across a gravel field and then you're still limited in where you can go. Bazaar! We visit Annapolis often and this is the worse hotel experience we've had. Don't stay here! Breakfast was warm water despised as coffee and some kind of meat impersonating sausage. ..................................".................
