We were super hungry when we arrived here for dinner. We started out with Tom Yum spicy sour shrimp soup, spring rolls and Vietnamese pancakes for appetizers. All tasty and well-prepared. We continued with crispy tamarind duck, curry chicken, middle vietnam (vermicelli noodles and beef), and enough food to doggey bag at very affordable prices. A very extensive menu and byob. Highly recommended!

Generous portions, great flavors, and friendly helpful staff add up to a lovely dining experience. Wish I had known it was BYOB before I sat down, as a crisp white wine would have been a good complement to the vermicelli bowl with barbecued shrimp.

Enjoyed my vermicelli noodle dinner with spicy beef though a bit heavy on the lemongrass. My son had Pho which he enjoyed. Service good. No liquor license but BYOB. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from! Lots of bubble teas.

We stopped here with our son, our Vietnamese born Daughter-in-Law and our granddaughter for lunch during a family visit to Amherst. We were surprised to find that Miss Saigon had a very large and extensive menu with lots of dishes to choose from. However, three of us opted for Pho (because that's what we had come here for) while our daughter-in-law had a Vermicelli Bowl. All the food was quite good. Our son had the Pho Sate (Pho with a peanut sauce added--seemed like a Vietnamese-Thai fusion dish to us), while I had the rare beef Pho and my wife had the Chicken Pho. Everything was quite good. The place was crowded, but not uncomfortable. The atmosphere was pleasant--somewhat better decorated than the kind of minimalist style one often sees in Vietnamese restaurants. Service was efficient and friendly. Parking can often be difficult on the main street of Amherst, but we were lucky to find a parking spot quite close to the restaurant. We'd give it a try again and would be tempted to sample some of the other dishes on the menu (altough its hard to resist a good bowl of Pho).
