“Hot WINGS!!! Great Burgers!!!!”
Reviewed 24 April 2013

If you're looking for wings in the Merrimack Valley look no further than Sauce in downtown Andover. You can get them almost any flavor you would want to get a wing, plus you can pair it with some their phenomenal beer selection. Grab some of the Buffalo Grandpa wings with a nice I.P.A sit back and enjoy the wings will always be on point...

“Solid food. Great burgers.”
Reviewed 31 March 2013 via mobile

Solid food. Great burgers. Boneless chicken wings were ok which is why there is 3 stars. They look great but just taste like chicken tenders with sauce just squeezed on top. Normally they are tossed in the sauce after frying not just squeezed on top.

“Want non-fast food ready quickly? Try this place”
Reviewed 10 January 2013

We had burgers so I can't comment on their wings but the burgers were nicely done and tasted like real food, not fast-food joint food. Fries tasted like potatoes, more body to them than McD's, colesaw was sweet, creamy and crunchy. Hint: don't buy a bottle of Saranac Shirley Temple soda, ghastly! Three TVs in a 18-seat restaurant were a bit overwhelming....but the food was really quite good.

“At last a local burger joint, but alas not a good one”
Reviewed 23 August 2012

At last a local burger joint. So with high hopes, my wife and I went to try it. They have a great (and changing) collection of craft beers (one of the high points). We ordered burgers, they did not ask how you wanted them cooked (medium well was the default). They came with a tasty bun, and we ordered coleslaw. My wife took a bite of the burger and said, "were these steamed?" I assured her that I saw them put the patties on the grill. The burgers were neither tender nor flavorful but the coleslaw was quite good. My wife tried the barbecue - again a disappointment - just ordinary meat slathered in sauce, no smoking, no marinating. So alas when the desire for a burger or barbecue comes upon us, we will still have to head to Cambridge.

“Good Food”
Reviewed 9 August 2012

This week we ordered take out from Sauce. Sauce’s owner also owned other restaurants we used to frequent (Evenfall Restaurant in Haverhill and Glory Restaurant in Andover).

We ordered the Pirate Style Crispy Ribs (A Classic Jamaican Mixture of Spices & Hot Peppers), Three B Burger (bacon, boursin, buffalo), the Chicago Burger (all the toppings of a classic chicago dog), and two orders of French Fries.

The ribs were tender and lean while the sauce was flavorful and definitely offered heat. The burgers were both good however, we would have preferred to say how we wanted our burgers cooked. The french fries are hand cut, and fried to perfection!

We both would definitely order from here again especially now knowing that they also offer Gluten Free items.
