“Go back in time whit your friends”
Reviewed 12 August 2012

Hi to all, this is an first hend info because im spending my time there often. Its the place where you caan relax with friends in great ambient (its like cowboy movie but the Macedonian way) sharing lot of beer and tasty food (dot fotget, how much more friends will gather the better, trust me on that). I recomend chicken fingers and fried onions ( i know fried onions looks litle weird, but goes great with beer). Almost every day there are live performances from different genres of music mostly soft rock or commercial hits, which I hope you like it. Abowt the prices 0.5L Beer wil cost you about 1.50-2 euro's and chicken fingers abowt 2,5 euro's. Enjoy.

“Great and relaxed place but bit expencive”
Reviewed 6 August 2012

The atmosphere is great and relaxed (casual wardrobe, relaxed people great music, usually rock....), different than other places in Skopje. I especially recommend it for warmer periods of the year, since there is a big space, open air, many tables.... But the prices are bit higher, maybe too high.

“Hearty Macedonian food with friendly service”
Reviewed 17 July 2012

Finding our way to Beerhouse An simply by chance was a stroke of luck. The menu seemed a bit extensive at first, but the friendly waiter helped us make a nice selection representing various delicious Macedonian specialities. Food was proficiently prepared and beautifully presented. Be sure to try the Macedonian wines as they are very hard to find outside of the country and their quality is generally very high. My personal favorites were the delicious white wines produced by Tikves. Despite of its name, Beerhouse An is actually a food lovers oasis at least from an amateur gourmand point of view.

Nice pizza place.Located in the very citu center. The restaurant offers both pizza, and some macedonian dishes. Used to be a small open in the backyard, hope it still works and is much better to sit there during the summer then inside.

“Beautiful setting, great food”
Reviewed 6 June 2012

This restaurant is set in the Kapan Han, one of the three remaining Ottoman caravanserais from the 15th century still standing in the old bazaar. you can still see - if you look up towards the first floor - the rooms where people used to sleep; while the restaurant is in the courtyard where the horses used to rest. We ate outside and only went in to use the toilet.
The setting is idyllic - a quiet oasis in the hustle of the old town, with flower pots, and a lovely atmosphere in a gorgeous secluded courtyard.
We ordered the mixed Macedonian starter. A nice selection - which we loved - with pindzur, adjvar, some tasty (smoked?) local ham and other delicious traditional Macedonian starters.
While starters tend to be mostly vegetarian, it is harder to find a veggie main course. this is in fact the first restaurant where I found one: turla tava (a vegetable stew made with potatoes and okra)
the restaurant has a nice wine selections. (Macedonian wines are utterly delicious and such a well kept secret. Tikveš Alexandria is the most common and delightful)
Absolutely loved this restaurant and would recommend anyone visiting Skopje to eat here for a good meal in a gorgeous setting. It must get quite hot during the day in the summer (it was 33 degrees while we were) but in the evening it is just perfect.
