I travelled to Skopje with my brother and stayed for two nights at the hotel before leaving for Ohrid. The hotel room is clean and basic and ideal for me and my brother who just wanted a base to explore the city during our short stay. Breakfast was included and consisted of a wide range of fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cooked meats and chocolates. The staff were very keen to assist and came to our table on a number of occasions with freshly made pastries and chocolates. We were very pleased with the breakfast and felt that there was a lot of variety in comparison with other hotels I have visited in Europe.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the Old Bazaar where there are interesting cobbled streets to explore and places to eat and drink. There are also restaurants outside of the hotel but we did not eat there.
All in all, we were satisfied with our stay and the price considering that the cost of accommodation in Skopje can be expensive. If I was to visit the city again (maybe after 2014 when the building works are to be completed) I would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again.More
