“Great church”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

This is the biggest church in Macedonia. As I know its a new church. The construction started on 23 of April 1972. Inside the church are great icons from the saints painted from Macedonian painter. Also inside is the biggest chandelier I ever saw in my life. The bell tower is 45 meters high with 3 huge bells. The entrance is free and if you don't have nothing to do you should visit this church.

“You can't and must not miss this place when visiting Ohrid”
Reviewed 25 May 2013

The church itself has values that not everyone will be interested in. However getting to the church will be the worthwhile experience for everyone, it is even an emotional experience for people that have been there many times. Walking through the narrow streets and corridors in the Old City give you the unique chance to experience the architecture, the spirit of the city! If you were wondering about the reason why Ohrid is an UNESCO cultural heritage site - this is it! Additionally, there are concerts and other events in the church area you might be interested in, and the surrounding restaurants, cafe's, pizzerias may be a good, though, a bit expensive choice to stop for a break or a meal.
