The hotel is in a great location with plenty of bars within a short walk of the hotel. Also the price of the room was excellent.
The hotel room was not good, we had a fridge in middle of room with no plug on it and there was a terrible smell from the room. Also the shower is very small and we had no shower curtain so the bathroom will be flooded. Also the hotel insisted in keeping our passports for the entire duration of our stay which i found a bit unusual.
We had the breakfast on one day and if i known what it was like i wouldnt have bothered with it

Before I say anything too negative I would like to say that this hotel does offer good value for money. It is in a nice area and although the rooms are very small and the shower is tiny - it is exceptionally clean and comfortable. However there is one thing that happened to us that could have spoilt the whole stay.

On our first evening in the hotel we had dinner in the restaurant. The food was extremely fresh and good and we were very pleased with the decision to stay in as it was very hot outside. Unfortunately after the main course we suddenly were given our bill and told we had to leave and if we wanted anything else we would have to sit in the lobby. The reason for this was that there was a group coming in for dinner. We were discouraged to have a desert and were given a coffee by a very harassed bar man.

Suddenly the staff members on duty seemed to get into an almighty panic rushing around with hot plates and showing that we were in the way. We paid our bill and left.

The following morning the breakfast was completely hijacked by the same group - leaving no coffee, no hot water, stained tables, only crusts of bread and lots of cold fatty fried eggs - all in uncovered hotplates. When we queried this we were offered the cold eggs to be microwaved - we refused.

The worst thing about this was the next morning the breakfast was very nice which proved that we were treated like second rate customers the first morning.

So this is my advice. If you see any sign of a group arriving make sure that you are treated exactly the same as them - you have paid the same money. Because suddenly this nice little hotel seemed to turn into Fawlty Towers.

Location and price are the best two things about this hotel. If you're up for a night out in down town Skopje you couldn't pick a better place to stay. It is located in part of city where there are favorite places to meet people and still few meters away in a quiet street so that when you decide to retire you will get a decent rest. It is very affordable but don't expect much more luxury. It is clean, breakfast is OK but with limited options. Stuff is very friendly.

This hotel fit the bill for what we needed, which was just a place to sleep before moving on to Bitola the next day. The location, though, was great for having several different eating options, being set in a rather active and lively neighborhood.
Also, well-located for walking to the main sights in Skopje, namely the main square, Alexander statue, and Turkish bazaar, all of which can easily be reached in about fifteen minutes.
Room was fine, bathroom good, breakfast OK (I think it would have been better if we'd arrived a little earlier - as we were among the last to eat the choices had dwindled by the time we came downstairs).
Overall, just fine.

We were here as part of a circuit, the last night of our trip was planned by the agency to stay here.
The hotel is well-located, at less than 15 minutes of walking to the city central square.
The room was large enough for a double room, all equipment was new and worked properly, there was no problem.
Good breakfast, the juice was very cold and seemed to be natural, I did not detect any chemicals in. Rarebit was truly delicious. Breakfast area is little bit too small, 8-10 small tables only, the place got crowded at breakfast time because we were a 48 persons group.
Very good and cheap food at terraces and pizza places nearby the hotel.

The hotel seemed to be a good bargain.

However, it was not really so.

The room was very small but ok. The staff was friendly and accepted the fact that after my first day of stay, I decided to move.

The breakfast is just ok.

All in all, it is ok for budget travellers, but there are other options in Skopje worth the rate.

My husband and I just loved this quaint, clean, friendly hotel. It's in a perfect location near the center and there are some fantastic restaurants nearby (but expect to shell out some cash for the meals).

We stayed for 2 days, left for a week, and came back for another few days. We just loved it. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. They always said hello and asked about our trip and if they could help us find places to eat and things to see. The two rooms we had on our two visits were snug, just barely fitting the bed, a small mini-sofa, and personal computer in the room. However, it was very clean. Especially the bathroom which was very newly renovated.

We would definately go back to this hotel.
