“An OK Hotel”

Rooms are OK, personnel is hospitable, sleeping quality is also good although my room looks at the street. Rooms are spacious. For this price, I was missing a gym. Single room costs 69Euro and double 89 Euro.
Breakfast also modest.I suggest floor 2 or 3.

I was on a business trip. After my arrival at Hotel Tim`s I was kindly welcomed by the staff. I had double room, which was clean, warm and big enough with tidy toilet, sheets and towels. The elevator was small, but enough to take my luggage to my floor.
The hotel has very good location - 15 mins to the very center. I liked the surroundings with many bars and small restaurants. I also met the owner of the hotel who took me to a drink in one of the local bars. He was very kind and friendly.
The breakfast in the morning was better than I could have imagined.
After reading the reviews here I was a bit skeptic, but I suppose that they improved their services a lot, since I didn`t have any bad experience.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone, because the price is not high and the what you get is excellent.

Room Tip: The staff showed me some of the new apartments, with great furniture and with separate entrance. The...

The hotel is very close to downtown: the shopping area, Macedonia square and the stone bridge are at a walking distance (15 minutes on foot). Another good feature is that the staff is nice and friendly, but in general the impression was below my expectancies. The lift is useless, you need to carry your luggage half way of the staircase and it's too small for a person + a suitcase. The wi-fi connection in the room was not working, although I was provided with access key and password, some lamp bulbs were missing or out of order, the furniture, appliances and bathroom accessories are in a bad state, however the room, the bed sheets and towels were clean and the place was warm enough to assure a good rest, also because the street is out of the city traffic. I appreciated the bathroom with a window, which rarely happens. Finally, the breakfast was not so inviting, with a small choice of food and of poor quality. The price is high for the quality and the range of services offered. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay only, unless some services are improved to make your staying more comfortable.

I recently stayed here with a friend for one night on our way to Bulgaria. We chose the hotel because of the reviews on Tripadvisor but I must say we were incredibly disappointed. On our arrival they did not have our reservation on file but found us a twin room. It was very tired and old - not worth the 90 euro it cost. It had no towels and the tv didn't work. When the guy at reception came up (eventually) to fix it, he couldn't, but said we could move rooms if we wanted - the last thing we felt like doing after a long day of travelling. There was an apartment next door that he gave us for the same price, but no help moving and no apology. The apartment was worse unfortunately - the bathroom was dirty and I suspect the sheets weren't clean (or they had been on the bed for a very long time - they seemed musty to me). It does have a pretty good location in a quiet neighbourhood - about a 15 minute walk into town. Breakfast had a pretty good range of options. Overall, I would recommend looking around for a better place to say for the cost.

Stayed 8 days, plenty of local restaurants, bars and clubs just down the road - 15 mins walk to main square and the magnificent Alexander the Great statue and water fountains. Although working had great evenings out - plenty of bars with 'misters' to cool you (temp in high 30's)

I've stayed here several times over the past 4 years and have recommended it to friends and business associates. The quality and service have been consistent. Hotel Tim's (as it's officially listed around town) is on a side street near the Ministry of Defense in a quiet neighborhood. It is a small, well-maintained, privately owned establishment with a friendly English speaking staff. Breakfast is continental style with plenty of choices and you can ask for an omelet as you like it. You can reach the center of Skopje by taxi in about 5 minutes or walk there in about 15 minutes. The rooms are clean, fairly sized and well maintained. Laundry service is available for a reasonable fee and there's a small convenience store next door. There are three good restaurants within a 3-5 minute walk - Duma, Mechka, and Nikkis and there are several more about 5-7 minutes away. Hotel Tim's is a good choice for both business travelers and tourists. They are especially family friendly.

The rooms and the amenities satisfies the expectations which do not expect any luxury in these apartments. They are clean, well heated, large enough and comfy to sleep. The breakfast was okay, better than many continentals. The hotel is about 1 km to the famous square which takes about 10 minutes to walk which is safe to walk around the city. There are some kiosks bars and restaurants in the vincinity which may be though to explore since all located in alleys of main street. The staff was helpfull, the elevator was literally for 1 person.
