This is the right place to become an instant fan of Italian food. Kudos to the chef and his masterpiece "Pollo Murattore."

“more food than you'll eat”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Our visit was on a weekday evening and there was no problem with seating. Our server was fantastic and most importantly had a sense of humor. Our salads were fresh and tasty which set us up nicely for our over sized entrees. Our server was there to share the freshly grated cheese to our liking and thru shear enjoyment we all but one finished our dinners. There was live music for a special birthday person that evening and the restaurants atmosphere was relaxing and
enjoyable. It's a place we will return to and endorse for others to enjoy.

We had dinner there recently and all 6 of us enjoyed the meal immensely. The portions are very generous and everything is made to order. We will definitely return.

“Amazing meal in a quaint area.”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

We decided to try Lucia's as it was centrally located for a group of us. There is street parking. The hostess greeted us with a smile, and although some of group was running late, we were still seated. Our server was wonderful, the right amount of attention to make the evening memorable. The appetizer (calamari fritti) and drinks were delicious. The past is made on site and is hand cut. Our meals were amazing. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and will have to make sure we don't fill up on apps and salad so we can try a dessert.

Our dinner at this lovely restaurant was superb, service above average, and romantic!! We frequent Lucia's and never eat out on New Year's Eve because the food and service are never up to par. Well Lucia's proved that statement wrong, the food was in fact better then usual as the specials were amazing! Even though the restaurant was packed, service was spot on. We were seated by Brian the manager, (he always remembers our names), our server was right there ready for drink orders and warm bread and oil/spice. In spite of the large crowd we never felt rushed to give up our table or hurry through dinner. They had a wedding booked in their function room and it did not impact food or service. I like my beef cooked VERY RARE and it is always prepared perfectly, kudos to the chef!! Desserts and after dinner drinks were so yummy. As for the review complaining about the Xmas lights, I love them. They make the space warm and cozy, you don't feel like you are in downtown Ayer on a busy street.Thank You Lucia's for the continued superb food and service, we will be back this week, and book us for next New Years Eve!
