This was our third stay at the Union Street Inn and as with the last two times we were so happy. The rooms are beautifully furnished and so comfortable and the service is impeccable.......so friendly, helpful and professional. It is one of our favorite places to stay in the world...definitely our favourite New england Inn! We cannot wait to go back.

Arguably the best B&B on the island. If you haven't stayed here, you're missing out! Beautifully decorated, close to town, and fabulous gourmet breakfasts.

We had a really lovely stay at Union Street Inn. I highly recommend it. We had researched it from Trip Advisor in advance and were not dissappointed in any way. The room was lovely and the bathroom modern, fresh and well equipped with lovely toiletories (clearly they do not cut corners here at all). The Inn is perfectly located.

The Inn Keeper, Ken and the manager Ryan were both great. Attentive but not intrusive, a lovely balance that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Both with great advice for the island and there for anything you needed whenever you needed it.

Breakfast - super. Couldnt have asked for anything better. Daily choice of a cooked special and additional cooked options daily, in addition to youghurts, granola, etc. Free flowing coffee and snacks available at any hour it seemed. Very much felt like 'Our house - is your house', unlike any B&B we have previously stayed in.

Nice touch of 24-7 access to a PC with internet (with a printer if you needed it for boarding passes) and extensive restaurant / menu guides to support their recommedations.

One tip for travellers in early season as we were - dont rely on the Ferry timetables (printed or internet) - we did and then nearly got stuck on the island, and had to scrabble for a last minute flight to save our onward trip to the neighbouring Vineyard. But early season was perfect for us, no crowds or queues or need for restaurant reservations. We particularly liked Galley Beach for a sunset dinner, Toppers for a smart lunch and Queequeg's for a more informal experience.

The information regarding what there was to see on Nantucket and general navigation information proved to be quite valuable while staying on Nantucket. The staff was friendly and very helpful regarding the island .

Had a brief, but very nice visit to the Union Street Inn. This is a 1700's vintage historic home, nicely decorated, very comfortable, and smartly updated. The Inn is in a great location - you can walk to everything in the village in a couple of minutes, but still be away from the bustle of Main St. Service was just right - everyone was very friendly, helpful, readily accessible, but in no way overbearing. This is one of the few inns on the island that serves a cooked full breakfast, and it was outstanding. Combined with great weather we thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast outside on the private patio. Everything on Nantucket is ridiculously expensive, but look for midweek pricing outside of the high season and the Union St. Inn is actually a very good deal. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Check their web site for deals and descriptions.

The Inn lived up to the advance press of being quaint and romantic. While very close to Main Street shops and restaurants, it is tucked away just enough to feel like you are on a private street. Delicious breakfasts every morning on the patio and just the right amount of attn from the staff and inn keepers (eager to make suggestions, reservations, etc, but not at all overbearing). All the rooms were beautifully decorated, with Rms 1 and 3 being our favs. You honestly couldn't make a bad room choice.

Enjoyed our days walking around the town, taking in the homes and history. Rented bikes from Young's Bicycle Shop and took in the Cisco brewery, Sconset, Sankaty and Brant Point Lighthouses and much more.

Too many wonderful restaurant options to take them all in, but enjoyed Centre Street Bistro, Pazzo, Company of the Cauldron and Seagrille.

The last evening of our trip was capped off by a sunset sail on the Endeavor. Captain Bill was a great guide with lots of stories to share about the Island. Beautiful way to end a beautiful trip. Love, love, love ACK!

Just returned from a trip that included Nantucket. We were very lucky and landed at the Union Street Inn in the centre of Nantucket as close to the centre of town as you could be without being on Main Street. This place is fantastic. Great accommodation, great staff and great food. It's as good as it gets. I feel slightly unhappy about recommending this place as I do not want too many others turning up in case it changes but these guys deserve any accolades they receive. From the luxurious beds and furnishings to the outstanding breakfasts on the patio everything was so professionally organised and friendly. Great place.............would love to go back. We travelled from Edinburgh in Scotland to be here and it was totally worth it.

Room Tip: Any room...........just go
