Elegance and comfort first comes to mind about our wonderful stay at the Union Street Inn, Nantucket, Massachusetts. The Inn was a short walk from the ferry, on a street off of Main Street. The area was quiet. The room and Inn decor fit the whole ambience of Nantucket. We used our fireplace both nights and it was very relaxing. The owners and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to fulfill whatever wish you may have and that was in their power to do. The full breakfasts and afternoon desserts were superb! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

We were so pleased to find that the Inn was exactly as it was previewed to be when we went looking for a place to get away on Nantucket. Lovely Inn and exceptional service and the Breakfast was delicious every morning. Can't wait to go back!

Ken, Rosalyn and Ryan were wounderful. We arrived on Saturday just in time for the parade and were delighted that there was so much to do within walking distance. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. There were yummy sweets, delicious breakfasts, easy directions and assistance with taxis, dinner reservations, etc. We stayed in the room with the detatched bathroom but didnt find it to be a problem as there was plenty of privacy. Met several wonderful people at the open seating breakfasts! Try the granola - it's the best!

Room Tip: The are all good.

Ken has done a fabulous job with this property, and we have stayed with him many times over the years. The inn has been restored with modern amenities, but retains the old charm of Nantucket. We always stay a night or two when making the transition to a beach rental, or just for a quiet get-away from Boston.

Ken knows the island and its people intimately, and his advice on dining and outing options are always spot-on. His staff are very discreet and give you space when you want it, and offer personal service when it is expected.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island for a B&B.

Room Tip: Downstairs rooms are largest with private baths. I prefer the cannonball bed best of all.

We spent a weekend on Nantucket in September. We stayed in room 5. The inn was full, but we couldn't tell. It never seems crowded. Room 5 was great! We loved the fireplace and how comfortable everything is there. The closet was huge. The bathroom was extremely small as stated but we didn't mind. The full breakfast was wonderful as were the afternoon snacks. We enjoyed eating out in the cozy courtyard. I would highly recommend this Inn.

Room Tip: Room 5 is in the upper front corner. Although it faces the street we had no noise. Although that c...
