We have been staying at the Union Street Inn for quite a few years. It is wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and immaculate. The staff is extremely accommodating and they always make us feel so welcomed.....it's like being in our own home on Nantucket. The breakfasts are delicious .....and afternoon tea with homemade cakes and cookies are a great way to rejuvenate after a day cycling or at the beach. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful.......some a little bigger than others. But each room has its special c...

We have stayed here numerous times and it has never let us down. It is consistently terrific! If you want to be in easy walking distance to downtown but enjoy quiet in the morning, an excellent breakfast and friendly staff, this is the place! Everything is absolutely fabulous and it has historic charm but a modern feel.

Room Tip: All rooms (except one) have an in-room bathroom (that is important to us) but that would be the only...

My better half and I just returned from Nantucket and wanted to share a great lodging experience with our fellow travelers. After attending the ABA Annual Meeting in Boston, we caught a Cape Air flight to Nantucket's well-equipped airport and caught a taxi for the ten minute drive to the Union Street Inn. We stayed five nights at the Inn and enjoyed the luxury accommodations, a highly attentive but never intrusive staff, a heavenly King bed that made us want to sleep late every morning, and an ideal location two blocks from the town center. This is at the top of the food chain for boutique inns on this little island haven 30 miles from the south shore of Cape Cod. Breakfasts each morning - ranging from French toast to goat cheese omelets to granola cereal and fresh fruit - were prepared by a talented duo who cheerfully greeted us as we headed outside to the garden. The inn staff gave us consistently solid recommendations on such local gems as the Nantucket Whaling Museum, the Shipwreck Museum, a bicycle tour of the island, a guided tour by vehicle from one end of Nantucket to other, a visit to Cisco's Brewery complete with local music, many historical sights and wonderful restaurants located throughout this 13 mile by 3 mile island paradise, and advice on what to do, where to go and what to see while we were there. In short, five days and nights in paradise. The contact info and address is 7 Union Street, Nantucket MA 02554, 888.517.0707 or 508.228.9222, info@UnionInn.com, www.UnionInn.com. We shall return.

The Union Inn is absolutely perfect in every way! It has been my dream for years(since I was a kid myself really) to come to Nantucket and to be able to bring my son and daughter, too. Ken, Leigh Anne, Amanda and the whole team at the inn were so friendly and helpful in every way. They helped with dinner reservations, places to go, things to do and their recommendations were spot on. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or place to stay. My kids told me over and over again how much they enjoyed it. They said it was the perfect location, perfect room, perfect everything. They even packed us a breakfast to take on the early ferry which was so helpful and wonderful. It is my hope to return some day for the annual Christmas celebration and/or the cranberry harvesting or just to have fun in a beautiful setting, relax and enjoy this wonderful island and a treasure of an inn.

Lovely historic inn with great in town location. Ken and staff were marvelous. Breakfasts superb, especially in courtyard. Would return here without question. Room and common area very clean and beautifully decorated.

Room Tip: Try rooms away from Union Street. However, appears some of best rooms are near street. Not a big p...

We had a great stay at Union Street Inn. Amanda and Louise are fabulous hosts. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and the afternoon cookies. The entire staff was so welcoming. I would stay there again and again.
The room was lovely, the decorations were beautiful, the breakfast was to die for. I cannot say enough great things about Union Street.

My wife and I will always remember our first visit to Nantucket as one of our best vacations ever and staying at Union Street Inn definitely made the difference. Perfect location, the staff is very professional, kind and accommodating, the bedrooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the breakfast in the courtyard is delicious and prepared fresh every morning with a different serving. The Inn is managed extremely well by the owners who put lot of attention to details. We cannot wait to come back!
