I was on Nantucket with my daughter who was busy running "The Rock Run." I had a great stay. Our shared room was adorable and extremely comfortable. The inn keeper - Skye was filled with personality and I really enjoyed her company. Breakfast was delicious - Homemade granola mix with fresh fruit - YUM! Anytime I return to the island I will be sure to check for openings at the Martin House first. A short walk to the beach and an enjoyable kayak ride truly topped of our quick getaway. Hope to see you soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The Inn Keeper Skye was extremely friendly and welcoming. This was our first time to nantucket and she was able to give us lots of useful information on what to do and where to go on the island. She arranged our island tour and had the tour guide pick us up right at the inn. Our room was very clean and the house overall was well kept up. Our linens and towels were all very good quality Ralph Lauren and the queen bed was very comfortable. The Bed and Breakfast was also in a good location and walking distance to downtown and a couple of beaches.

I would definitely return to this Bed and Breakfast when we come to Nantucket again.

My only recommendation would be to offer other options for breakfast. The breakfast consisted of three cereal choices, fruit salad, freshly baked goods, and orange juice. This was all great, but offering something that isn't sweet such as eggs would be excellent.

Martin House Inn was coszy and cute. The location was perfect to walk into town. Rooms on the first two levels seem to be good size- we stayed in the attic room which was a bite too small but we were on a budget. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Little disspointed by lack of afternoon tea- but it wasn't a deal breaker.

My family and I have been coming to the Martin House for many years now and have always had such wonderful experiences and memories made! Most recently I went on a trip with a few friends, and of course decided our stay on Nantucket wouldn't be complete without a stay at the Martin House! As always, the place was beautiful, Skye makes you feel like you are home! The location couldn't be better, a quick walk from the either ferry, and also a close walk to town, the beaches etc.! It is even located across from a great restaurant, American Seasons! The homemade pastries in the morning while sitting sipping coffee on the porch, the wine and cheese nights, and the afternoon baked goods are touches, that help to make the stay so memorable! I have been coming here for years, and will continue to come! Thanks to the Martin House for yet again a truly wonderful stay!!!

To enjoy a place as calm and unique as Nantucket takes serious money. Here among the world's largest concentration of Labrador Retreivers, Land Rovers, huge yachts and trophy wives, we found a great B & B perfectly located midway between town and the Jetties Beach.

Sky, the Inn Keeper is a joy and treats her guests like personal friends in her historic and lovely home. The furnishings, cleanliness and warmth are outstanding. Breakfasts, cookies at 4 pm and wine on chesse on Friday add to the charm and value.

A great extra we enjoyed is access to the Community Sailing Club where Martin House guests can use kayaks and sailboats at no charge. Saling lessons are available too at $50 per hour. The boats are in great shape and provide a wonderful experience in Nantucker Harbor.

We stayed on the spartan but affordable third floor where 5 rooms share a bathrrom, but we never had to wait. One concern was the bathroom should be cleaned several times a day due to its heavy use.

The first and second floor rooms all have private baths and lovely antique furniture.

The location, friendly inn keeper, fine breakfasts. free WIFI and so many extra touches make Martin House a great choice and good value too.

We had a wonderful stay during the pre-season. The accommodations were full of old world charm and very up-scale. The breakfasts and snacks, including welcoming cookies and a wine tasting, were delicious. I wanted some recipes. The hostess was a delight - so hospitable and helpful in providing directions, local insights and seeing to our needs. I would definitely recommend this inn.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway where your needs are taken care of, this is the place. The inn-keeper was incredibly friendly and helped us make the most of our stay by informing us of events, historic sites, and restaurants. She tailored her interactions with each guest and made us all feel very welcome and relaxed.
