Last October.I attended a wedding on Nantucket and stayed at the Barnacle Inn with several other guests. Memories of morning breakfasts on the deck, spotless accommodations, smiles and the friendship of the owners have lasted with me all winter. This is now my new East Coast home. Thank you to Suzie for taking care of all the details and making a West Coaster miss the magic of the Barnacle Inn.

Comfortable in so many ways! Sue was very lovely and accommodating from my first interaction with her on the phone, and throughout my stay. I loved the setting, fresh flowers in the room, quilt on my bed, beautiful front garden, and within walking distance from town! The breakfast was wonderful and served so nicely! The whole experience with the Barnacle Inn left me feeling warm and cozy! I would love to stay there again some time!

Just returned from our Nantucket get-a-way and wanted to review the Barnacle Inn right away!
We have been to the island many times, and it is a very special place to vacation. This time we decided to try a new Inn to stay and we're very delighted with this choice! It is an enchanting Inn with the feel of a charming cottage retreat. Very we'll run, homey, clean, and several nice spaces in the garden to relax, enjoy the coffee, tea, and delicious afternoon treats! It is nice to have the spacious, setback grounds to relax and enjoy when not at the beach, shopping, strolling the town, etc. The lobby area is an inviting living space full of books, board games, sitting areas, and offers many amenities like afternoon cookies, tea, water, coffee, newspapers, and area brochures. The breakfast served outdoors was delicious and charmingly presented and served. The hospitality of Suzie and Phil, the innkeepers, was genuine and warm, and made departing a little difficult as we truly enjoyed their presence. The staff was wonderful, and the rooms were nicely appointed and clean. It felt like a home away from home, and the pampering was welcoming! The location is terrific. We felt like we had our own home on the island, thanks to Suzie and Phil and the charms of the Barnacle Inn!

I have stayed at several B&B's on Nantucket over the years but my latest stay at the Barnacle Inn on Fair Street was exceptional. The check-in process was so easy and our hostess Sue couldn't have been nicer during our entire stay. The breakfast was absolutely to die for and being presented with a newspaper every morning was a real treat. The rooms were VERY well appointed, clean and were so pleasant to come back to after a long day of working on the island. I especially liked the room set up with two singles and a bath in between. It worked exceptionally well; giving us both privacy but making it easy to communicate. I have to also mention the great water pressure in the bath! That was a nice surprise as most B&B's I've stayed at don't typically have good water pressure. It was so appreciated! I can't say enough nice things about this great B&B and our lovely hosts! I will definitely return to the Barnacle Inn when I'm back on the island.

Room Tip: We took a tour of the entire Inn and it's my opinion that there isn't a bad room in the buil...

We hope to see you again as well! I'm glad the two rooms connect by the private bath worked so well for you. It is nice to have a little privacy, but still be able to be close with your friends. Looking forward to seeing you in the future.

We stayed for two nights in May. Denise welcomed us before we even got the front door and was so helpful throughout our stay. We loved the charming, airy room and the wonderful warm blueberry muffins for breakfast. It's in a great location and very reasonable for Nantucket.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Nantucket, and after trying our a few other places, the Barnacle Inn is our official favorite place to stay. Unlike most B+B's, this one is set back from the road for a little extra privacy, with a charming front garden where one can enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee. The location is absolutely ideal, as it is on a quiet side-street yet just steps away from the main street. Owners Suzi and Phil are really charming and helpful, and the whole place is very pleasant and homey.

We stayed at The Barnacle for a long weekend in August, and it was everything we were hoping for .... and more! The location is ideal, just around the corner from downtown and a few blocks from the waterfront on a quiet, historic street. The house itself is charming ... casual ... with a large common area downstairs and wide bright hallways. We loved hanging out on the front patio and porch, too. Our room was simple but entirely comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is a delight ... served outside on individual trays with fresh muffins (right out of the oven), fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee. Such fun! And I can't say enough about Suzie and Phil -- they are exceptional hosts who clearly love the island and love what they do. We will definitely return.
