This is my second time staying here. It's super cute and no one bothers you. It's like having a great little bedroom right in the heart of town. I will say this I always stay in room 1 the stilletto room. Room 2 isn't tiny either but don't even think about room 3. It's the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. I love my room. Corner, big fluffy bed lots of windows. Perfect for this weekend.

Great location and clean but that is about it. Check in and check out process was long and disorganized. 1 lady was trying to cover Vanessa Noel hotel, the shoe store, and the green hotel on a busy weekend. Looked like she was using her personal pc for check in and had a lot of problems figuring it out. Room was way too hot and changing the in room thermostat had no real effect. No sound proofing so noise from street and other rooms was disturbing. Hotel decorated with big name (eg Armani) furnishings but it comes off as very regular, unimaginative, and without character. Feels like a hotel owned by a distant owner with just name applied to it, none of the genuine desire to deliver a great experience that you get at a lot of other boutique hotels and bed and breakfasts.

Too expensive for tiny room and bath...phone broken and air conditioning worked just okay.. We chose this place as a last resort and paid over $300 for one night. No elevators and very narrow stairs..

This was what hotels.com found for me at under $200. Very convenient location, but that is the only thing good to say. Small attic room with no headboard on the bed and a minimal shower cubicle. The front desk did nothing but give us our key and tell us it was next door on the third floor. Steep stairs. When we tried to get the Internet code, it was a major production. No one at the front desk (before 9 pm), so we rang and called the numbers on the door. Finally on the third call, someone appeared from somewhere at the same time that the phone was answered. I hate to think if we had an emergency.

Vanessa Noel Hotel in Nantucket was a nice little boutique hotel; very European in feel. The room we had was small, and the girl offered to show us a room in the connecting Vanessa Green Hotel, which is an environmentally friendly hotel, but we opted for the smaller room. It was quaint, clean, smelled of the Hermes products which was so pleasant and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was quiet and we had a good night’s rest. Vanessa Noel was there and she has a nice wine bar adjacent to the hotel and a shoe shop. As for price, Nantucket is pricey, so we considered the prices at this hotel reasonable. The location was excellent, a few blocks from the ferry terminal and close to all the shops and restaurants. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who likes boutique hotels. You do have to climb stairs.

Room Tip: Call rather than book on line and talk to the hotel attendant to make sure you are not getting a sma...

If you are staying in VNH be prepared to bring with you all the little things you usually leave at home.We supposedly had a “luxury” suite, however, there is no bottled water in the room (not even for extra cost), no refrigerator, no cotton pads orq-tips available. There wasn’t even a bar of soap in the room! Tried calling the front desk… oops – these is no phone in the room. When all of these missing essentials were mentioned to the manager, she simply told usthat there is a pharmacy around the corner. The iron and the ironing boardhad to be requested at the front desk as well.Don't expect any sort of newspaper or room service morning coffee. The floors are crooked, the air conditioners are noisy but they definitely try to knock your socksoff with the Hermes soap bar (when one requests and actual bar), Frette bath robes and towels -all this “luxury” can be yours for only $850 a night!

Booked this through booking.com. When we arrived, the front desk guy laughed in our faces because we were staying in the flip flop room, the smallest room they had, really designed for one person. If they are going to pretend to be a hotel, they should try not to laugh at the poor suckers who throw away 400 dollars to stay in a room that's less than 100 square feet. My husband and I could not both stand in the room at the same time. The location is topnotch and we were able to enjoy Nantucket so much. It's a special special place. However, do not be seduced by frette sheets or Hermes bath products- definitely not worth it.

Room Tip: Avoid the flip flop room- beyond tiny!!
