The Chicken was soo tender and enjoyed the salad with it. Like the variety of extras that went with the meat. One staffer was a little to rushed in giving you your food, but he was doing well for such a busy night.

Our party of five found the Dunes while exploring Nantucket and we were very pleased. As other reviewers experienced this facility during Restaurant week, we did likewise. Several members of our party enjoyed the lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were very well received and were not smothered in dressing.
Our service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. By all standards a very pleasant lunch experience. The Bloody Mary drinks were wonderfully decorated and tasty.
When dining on Nantucket, explore the area and settle into this facility for a wonderful meal.

Stumbled on this place. We both had fish, fluke and halibut, delicious! Vegetables perfectly prepared and accompnying, with nice sauces. We shared a pea soup as an appetizer, as part of the Restaurant Week special. It was fantastic. The waiter was very pleasant, a bit goofy, really liked him. Taking into account Nantucket prices, the $45 restaurant week three course price was fantastic, and the menu prices reasonable given the quality. I can't imagine that there is a better deal in town, given price and quality. Only downside: a bit noisy upstairs, consider eating outside which you can do.

Our dinner was extremely good, but fell just short of perfection in a few areas. The perfect: the crust on the yeasty bread, the spring pea soup was a visual and sensual delight, perfectly cooked swordfish and salmon. The not quite perfect: the beet puree on the salmon dish tasted out of place and overwhelmed the wonderful flavor profile of the rest of the dish, the heavy-handedness of the lavender in the honey-lavender ice cream and service felt a bit unnecessarily rushed for a relatively slow pre-season evening.

The Dune was recommended by our Inn Keeper. We had cocktails at the bar, they were delicious and Allison, the bar made was very nice. The dune is a modern restaurant and at it is not too big place so it also feel comfortable. We had dinner there which was excellent. It was season based food, very attentive service and fine dishes, all perfectly cooked and delicious. We even had our starters split so we could both test each dishes! The only little down was dessert, we had butter pudding with maple syrup and bacon ice cream, the beacon ice cream is not for everyone taste! Anyway always good to experience something different. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to dine out in Nantucket!
