“My go to place for breakfast on Nantucket”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

This is a very nice, cozy restaurant with great breakfasts and friendly servers. I always choose this cafe for my breakfasts on Nantucket. This most recent trip I also had a very yummy lunch there. (They have recently started trying out some new dishes for lunch in addiiton to their more standard but delicious comfort food.) During the busy season, get there early if you really don't want to wait in line or have to catch an early ferry. However, even when I have had to wait outside for a while, it's always worth it once I get my food! :-)

“A friendly spot for breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

Met three friends here for a late morning feast. Wow, was it great! Best blueberry pancakes we have ever had! The egg dishes were also perfect, and the fresh breads were outstanding. The prices were fair and the server was very helpful. I would love to go back!

“Great chowder and wraps. Service is friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Wind and rain all around us and the Fog Island Cafe was a welcome break. Plenty of tables and booths. Getting in before June not a problem. During summer expect a bit of a wait. The clam chowder comes in cup or bowl and priced very reasonably. The wraps are wonderful and come with a variety of sides. The multigrain bread is terrific. Definite go to lunch spot for us.

“Great value for comfort food on Nantucket.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

The cafe fit the bill for a windy, rainy day in Nantucket. They serve breakfast and lunch in a diner like setting. Sandwiches come with a large selection of options for sides: home fries, ginger slaw, chips or black beans. Yummy multigrain bread was used for grilled sandwiches. Perfect spot for families with young kids. Lots of booths are available.

“Favorite Breakfast on island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Better get there early in the summertime, but the Fog is always worth the wait. Black beans & sour cream/guacamole are a must. Any of the Benedict's are amazing, huevos rancheros, as well as the trail cakes! Lunches are fairly priced and great as well, especially the soups!
