“Nice View!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

The view from the terrace is spectacular.

The service wa slow and unattentive.

The food was good but not great.
The salad and dessert ws the highlite of the dinner.

The main courses were good but not geat.
The teak was overdone and the fish tasted
packaged versus fresh.

Overall, an OK dining experience that lacked value for
the price.

“Lunch visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

Wished we could have got back there for dinner. We had a lovely lunch, Salad for my husband, croque monsieur and a shared plate of chips. Half a bottle of white wine. Fab, all well cooked, tasty, reasonable prices. Lovely roof top patio overlooking the ruins of La Iglesia and great attentive staff.....don't miss it!

“Seductive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2014

Without curbside appeal, this really has the BEST patio in Antigua, overlooking la Iglesia. Try the salad nicoise for lunch with a lovely sauvignon blanc or the steak for dinner. The chocolate mousse will make you fall in live with this chef. There are other restaurants recommended on Trip advisor, but this is by far the one you will remember and hold in your heart.

“Great view Great steak”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

I have eaten here on both trips to Antigua. The view is unique in that you see directly into the "ruins" of a church that faces onto the Parque Cental. Last night I had the steak bernaise, it was a giant tenderloin cooked perfectly. In the US you would have paid at least twice as much for a similar meal.

“Terrific Tartines!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2014 via mobile

After a full morning of exploring the cobblestone streets of Antigua, I was famished but we passed by numerous restaurants including Tartines without finding one that had 'curb appeal'.
However, their sign which stated 'best terrace in Antigua' stuck in my mind so we retraced our steps. It was a good decision ad once we clamboured up the winding spiral staircase we were pleasantly surprised by the view and the food.
While it was a basic lunch that we ordered, but everything was fresh and the quality superb. While I only ordered a roast chicken panini with frites, it was wonderfully tasty.
The service was both attentive and unobtrusive and had me had more time we definitely would have returned for an evening meal.
