This hotel was quite nice in comparison to other rooms that I have stayed in while in Ukraine. Clean, comfortable, and reasonably close to the city center - it provided a nice place to 'come home to' away from the business of the downtown area. The staff was very nice, and the restaurant provided great breakfast and a nice place to meet and mingle with others.
I would comfortably recommend this hotel for others wanting to experience a good stay in beautiful Odessa!

It is a good hotel just a walking distance from the centre and the amusement park near the sea. The staff is really care taking and does their best despite the procedures for check-in and check-out still very much resemble Soviet times. Deluxe rooms are quite well equipped. TV was difficult to operate due to several remote controls and there was no English channel choice. The hotel was clean, breakfast was rich and the service was very good on the Ukrainian scale. In a desperate need for a substantial renovation Odessa is still a very pleasant city with a kind of Mediterranean atmosphere.

Room Tip: Take a deluxe room looking to the courtyard as it is more quiet.

The hotel was very clean and the courtyard was beautiful. The restaurant associated with the hotel offered a great breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus were extremely good as was the beer and staff. The hot water did not work, and the front desk had a repairman there in under ten minutes. A mark of an excellent hotel. He had it fixed in another ten minutes. The takeaway is not that the hot water at first did not work, but that the staff got it fixed quickly. The mark of a well trained staff.

My Russian is rusty due to lack of use. No knowledge of Russian would make it more of an adventure for travelers as it seemed few of the staff spoke English. Don't let this dissuade from booking this hotel, as it really is a great location and a clean and nice hotel.

I would stay again for sure.

Room Tip: I would try to be towards the courtyard as we were. Very quiet.

We booked our TWIN room using website www.booking.com and having arrived we got DOUBLE room which was very small. We asked the receptionist to arrange this situation and soon we were given TWIN room #409. It is very spacious but... there is a door to the neighbour room! If you are not so lucky as we were you will hear everything from the guests living next to you - the sound insulation is poor.
When sleeping, I always heard a creak because the trees are very close to the window and they made squeak when bending because of the wind, etc.
Another drawback is that there is NO ELEVATOR, so if you have children or problems with your legs - never book a room on the 3 or 4 floor.
But despite of all this I enjoyed my trip as:
- the STAFF was FRIENDLY and HELPFUL
- the BREAKFASTS were TASTY
- the LOCATION was GREAT
- there was a KETTLE WITH CUPS in the room
- the ATMOSPHERE was COSY

Room Tip: if you have children or problems with your legs - never book a room on the 3 or 4 floor.

i cannot at all understand all these high ratings.....
the hotel is a very average hotel with max 3 stars. the rooms we had where not in the same building, one had yo walk down the street 2 buildings. the breakfast was included, but when asking for an espresso same had to be payed extra with 25 grivna ! which for kiev standards is a crazy amount.
overall the hotel is clean, in a convenient location, but that is about it.

Comfortable location: 15 min walk to the city center and the same to the seaside (Langeron beach). Excellent service, clean and full of light rooms with all you will need in place, good breakfast. Building architecture is a bit strange but definitely worth seeing :)
Staying there was a real pleasure.
