In Ukraine, "Italian" food is quite popular, but at most places it is pretty far from Italian. Here, the pizza is pretty authentic and the ingredients of high quality. I've had better pizza in my life, but this is the best Kharkiv has to offer. It has a nice atmosphere, though sometimes a bit smoky. I haven't been for a visit since the smoking ban here in Kharkiv, so I don't know if they're still allowing smoking in the restaurant or not. Most restaurants here seem to be going along with the ban, and if this place is, then it's even better than it was last time I visited.
Also, one of the few places that serves some spicy food that is actually spicy! Ukrainians seem to be even less enthusiastic about spicy food than Americans, and it is rare to find a menu item with some serious spice to it, but you can find it here, if that's your preference. I love spicy food, so this place is a good pick in my book.
