This first floor apartment is very well situated in a quiet area in the medieval part of the old town just up from the west end of the Riva. There are several good restaurants very close plus a couple of local supermarkets and the road that leads up the hill to viewpoints on Marjan is the just the other side of the nearby small square. Diocletian's Palace and the Roman part of the town are a short walk away.
The apartment itself is high quality with everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The bedroom has a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging and other storage space and a very comfortable bed. The external shutters do a great job of keeping the room dark but also have the unexpected feature of turning the room to a camera obscura and somehow projecting images from the street onto the ceiling when the sun is shining! The bathroom is compact but very nice with a good shower. The living/kitchen area is comfortable, light and airy and well-equipped (including oven, hob (2 hot plates), microwave, washer dryer and dishwasher). Diana, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and she is easy to contact at any time.
In summary, we really enjoyed our stay at this apartment and would have no hesitation in returning.
