“Love the staff, great location!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

We arrived several hours before check-in and the manager welcomed us with open arms--stored our bags and fed us breakfast and made us great lattes. What a lovely, cool, fun, professional guy he is!! Good recommendations, like visiting a friend. He insisted on sending someone to buy our ferry tickets to Hvar early in the morning and then had that nice guy run us over to the ferry dock after we finished breakfast in their golf cart-- put our bags right on the boat.

I would stay there again. The rooms are not over the top, but are spacious and nice. Our room looked over the main square and yet the windows were so soundproof, it was peaceful sleeping! Will head there again the next time we pass through Split.

Room Tip: Look over the square and still sleep well!

I was very happy that I decided to stay in this hotel which is located right in the middle of the old town.
I was also glad that I had asked the hotel to arrange a cab from the airport that then deposited us at a waiting electric buggy.
This is a very good hotel run by exceedingly bright and pleasant staff.

Absolutely loved this place!

Sat on the ferry from Korcula to Split at around 6am in the morning, I answered an email from the hotel saying I wasn't sure how we were getting from the ferry to the hotel - we disembarked to find Michael (sorry for English spelling) waiting for us on the golf cart ready to take us on a mad, funny ride to the hotel speeding down the little narrow streets. Andrija was waiting at the hotel where we were barred from carrying anything heavier than a coffee cup and bustled into the dining area for breakfast! We ate our way though an array of fruits, yogurt, cold meat, cheeses, breads and eggs - anyway you like them! The coffee is good (apparently Andrija's is best!).
As we had arrived early, our rooms were not ready so we left our bags and went off to explore having been provided with maps, tips and a humorous explanation of what we could expect to see.
When we returned, the rooms were beautiful - well equipped and very comfortable with sound proof windows. Marija told us all about the gradual, sympathetic and caring restoration they are making of the old palace - their enthusiasm, passion and attention to detail is plain to see all around the hotel. We saw guests being given baskets containing beach towels, hats and water for trips to the beach - how thoughtful!
The dinner recommendations we were given (Zinfandel and Bokeria) were very good and the bar in the courtyard downstairs is pretty and always busy.
Nothing at all to complain about other than we weren't there long enough!
Would love to go back - a big thank you to everyone there

The Palace Judita is in the center of Split (main square) where no cars are allowed and they were so thoughtful to send us an email one day in advance to advise us on the easiest way to find their car park outside. Great service! Starting from the pick up throughout the check-in everything was very pleasant and efficient. The rooms are big and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail. The bathrooms are also new and spacious. Breakfast was the best! Usually you only limited choice from boutique hotels but not at the Palace Judita. There was so much on offer and the fried eggs were great. It was a pity we had only booked one night, but it was truly a very good stay. The staff was fantastic. Polite, helpful and made every effort to make your stay memorable.

I can't imagine a better experience. Hotel staff made check in easy--meeting us at the parking area and driving us into the city (no cars allowed near hotel). The location is absolutely perfect, a little noisy if you're sensitive to that, but the soundproof windows and AC units do a good job of insulating from that. Breakfast was delicious and hotel staff was incredible. They assisted us with getting tickets for the ferry to Hvar, restaurant recommendations, whatever we needed. The bed was clean and incredibly comfortable. Room was a little small for the price, but you shouldn't be spending too much time in there anyways. 5 min walk from the promenade, 2 minute walk from palace square. Five star experience in every way, shape, and form.

Room Tip: Get a view of the old square. Sitting near the window, enjoying a glass of wine, watching people in...

Within the old town just yards from Diocletian's palace the Judita earns it's place as No. 1 on TripAdvisors' list in Split. Clean, comfortable bed, effective easily controlled air conditioning ensured a good night of sleep. Our room overlooked the main square with all its bustle and activity, but effectively soundproofed at night. Breakfast freshly cooked and excellent coffee. The welcome was warm and a performance in its own right.

After two weeks in Croatia this is our favorite hotel...made so by Andreja and the team! Hotel is perfectly placed in old town and all aspects work fantastically. Breakfast is great and Andreja can "omlette-asize" some great eggs!!
We arrived at 9am and were welcomed, fed and had good coffee.
Room was big and having a wine while watching the world go by from huge windows is a treat.
The team recommended lots of good eating and drinking establishments which we enjoyed.
Great hotel and amazing staff.
A must in Split.
Thanks
