I stayed 5 nights in this beautiful modern and well decorated appartment looking on the very animated Riva. It's just behind a lovely square with restaurants and excellent fruit juices, very close to the Diocletian palace. I wish to return there.

We stayed here for 1 night after 3 nights in Dubrobnik and really wished we'd reversed that around. The Old City of Split is actually a lot more interesting, a lot less busy, and much more "lived in." Sure there are the usual shops, but at night you'll find locals drinking in bars and hanging out down alley ways listening to music. I didn't feel like I was competing with thousands of people like in Dubrovnik. Outside of the Old City is a different story - Split looks like it needs a good clean.

The accommodation here was fantastic. We rented two apartments from them, close by each other and both really different. Both were spacious, modern and very tastefully done. Everything seemed to have been thought of.

The staff were extremely helpful and likable. We all felt at ease straight away.

Can't recommend this place highly enough, and like I said, my advice would be to spend a little less time in Dubrovnik and a little more time in Split.

Room Tip: Both the apartments we stayed in were magnificent.

We had a fantastic time at the Riva apartments. We stayed in the front apartment which had a great deck with sun loungers overlooking the sea and Riva. It was very relaxing to sit on the evening and watch the world go by with a cold gin and tonic! The room was modern with every comfortable convenience you would want. The apartment was right by the Diocletian palace, which was wonderful containing lots of very good restaurants, shops and bars. We will definitely return, you couldn't get a better location, and the mangagment looked after us very well, making sure everything ran smoothly during our stay.

Three of us stayed in the one bedroom sea front suite which has a deck looking out to sea. Our one bedroom suite easy takes three people with the good quaulity sofa bed which was very comfortable in the lounge area.
The rooms are very big and are up market. The bathroom onsuite a dream and there is a second toilet and hand basin for quests.
The kitchen has high end market appliances.
The view is amazing. We had many a wine on the deck looking out to sea and people watching.
Our host Lada gave us good advise on where to eat and everyone was a winner.
We had a hire car which was housed for us and then we were taken by golf cart type to our apartment. We did not find this a problem walking back to car when needed.
The one and only thing I would advise is there is plenty of steps from road to the appartment but truly worth it.But saying that i would certainly stay there again if we ever go back.
Very good shopping, tasty food, warm weather.
Wow i want to go back now!

Room Tip: Make sure you get the suite in the picture.

This was a very nicely appointed apartment with a spectacular view of Split harbour. It directly overlooks the promenade; a wide paved area which teems with people every evening. Very interesting and stimulating but LOUD until midnight at least. I would agree with everything the last few reviewers wrote....including the beauty of the hostess Lada who greeted us in immaculate white matching the decor of the apartment.

A negative is the fact that there is no car or taxi access and one must be met by a porter who ferries the bags a block or two then carries them up the three flights (at least!) of stairs. We had to leave early in the morning and the porter wasn't available. Fortunately I was strong enough to carry all of our family's bags down but it wasn't easy!

A nice surprise was that the Split beaches were an easy and scenic walk away (probably 10-15 minutes) which meant that one could combine browsing the beautiful old city with hanging out at a very unique beach. Lada gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions and we enjoyed Split very much.

Dear guest,

Thank you for such an honest review.

We are sorry for the inconvenience with the luggage, at that time we were using third party for luggage who proved to be unreliable. We solved that problem now and we promise it won't happen again.

We are happy that you liked your stay and our accommodation and restaurant recommendations.

We are looking forward to having you as our guests again.

Kind regards,
