We are a group of 8 Australians on our own organised holiday in Croatia. We organised for Portal to pick us up at our Airbnb in Split, take us to Plitvice Park and then on to our Airbnb in Zagreb. Andre turned up exactly on time with a large comfortable van plenty big enough for all our luggage. He was an excellent driver and full of information. He walked all the way round Plitvice with us, making sure we saw all the best bits in the easiest possible way. We spent almost 4 hours in Plitvice and then an excellent lunch and on to our doorstep in Zagreb. An day to remember and an easy transition to our next destination!

We were a group of 7 with 2 young children(3 and 4yrs), the travel agency was so good and friendly to provide a minibus for us from our accommodation to the main meeting point, couldn't be more grateful with the arrangements! The 3 tours we have joined- Dubrovnik, mostar, Plitvice Lakes National Park were all quite informative. We were all tired out with the early morning and late nights, however, enjoyed the company of the tour guide and the stunning scenery. Big Thank you to all the staffs!!

We took the Krka waterfall tour. It was the perfect day tour, more than enough time to look around and see the beautiful scenes! We were told we couldn’t get in to swim though so I would love to come back in summer. Our guide was very informative and helpful. great trip for all ages!

This was an excellent trip into the splendid Krka National Park under the guidance of Ernest who was very knowledgeable, amusing, considerate and entertaining.
The scenery and waterfalls are spectacular. The Dalmatian people maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care of their natural environment so that the park is well maintained. Sibenik an UNESCO site was another lovely town to visit. A very enjoyable day.

Plitvice lakes must not be missed if you visit Croatia. We went there on a tour with Toni and Tiho from the Travel Agency and we were just delighted! Their sympathy and enthusiasm, as well as their professionalism, during the tour and the driving just improved the day. Toni was a great guide through Plitvice, making sure everyone was okay during the walking and being organized with timings to make sure our pace was alright. He took us through the hot spots of Plitvice and provided with enough time to enjoy the beautiful sceneries. The tour ended up with lunch at an amazing local restaurant. In general, they made sure everyone enjoyed their time and we definitely recommend this tour to whoever wants to visit Plitvice!

Travelled in early October with Igor as the guide. This guy knows his stuff and is excellent as a guide (pity our cruise director didn't take a leaf out of his book). Border crossings were pretty quick in comparison to some other trips we did during our time in Croatia.

Mostar was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in 2018. We also got to spend some time at the waterfall on the one back to Split - probably would have liked more time in Mostar instead. Such a touch of eastern europe which I will always remember fondly.

Thanks for such a great day albeit long but very worth it. Would I recommend most definitely.

portal tours was a very organized company. the mini bus was immaculate and comfortable (even had a bathroom!) the park is truly one of the most beautiful and unusual. unfortunately, the weather was grey and didn't highlight the beautiful colors of the trees and water. the crowds were a bit ridiculous. the narrow pathways become close to dangerous with people unconsciously using selfie sticks and stopping in the middle of the narrow paths, blocking the flow of people traffic. but that seems to be the way of the touristic world nowadays. our driver and guide were informative while we were in the bus, but guide was pretty much silent during the park visit. when we took to the trails, igor went far too fast uphill for us to appreciate the beauty in which we were surrounded. this, after he joked that he did not walk 'like a new yorker'! well, i am a new yorker. and he would have kept up with the best of them. would have also liked more time in the park, than the food breaks we took on the way up and back. way too long. overall, the park is the star here. just wish we had time to appreciate it.

When you are not travelling by car, but by public transportation, it is not often you can spend a day at a major attraction and still get from one place to another efficiently. That is exactly what this tour did for us. Not only did we get from Zagreb to Split, but we got to see two beautiful sights (Rastoke and Plitvice) as well. Our guide Milan did a great job keeping people moving along which is no small trick in Plitvice. And certainly Plitvice deserves its reputation as a wonderful park, but it is almost a victim of its own popularity. Because of the narrow walkways and the throngs of people moving along them, it is difficult to stop and "smell the roses". The fact that it was so crowded took away from the experience for us and we went in September when it was supposedly less busy (Milan confirmed that by Plitvice standards it was a pretty slow day). In any event, Rastoke was cool and Plitvice was beautiful and we really appreciated the transfer from Zagreb to Split. All in all a great day.
