My husband and I came here for after dinner drinks because we saw they had a lot of wines by the glass and we wanted to be able to try some different things. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who offered to let us try 3-4 (and maybe more if we had kept going) wines before we decided which we wanted a glass of. They had at least 10 Croatian reds by the glass between 20 ad 60 kn. We ended up with a Plavac Volarevic which was very oak-y (like bourbon) and a Teran which was lighter and fruitier. Both were good and we also liked the Dingac Matusko which we only tried a sip of. No pressure to get a bottle or to have more than one glass. They only have two seats by the street and both were taken which was really the only downside. Total for our two glasses was just 55 kn which was about $10 USD - good price and a better selection than any other place we've seen so far in Split. We didn't eat so can't vouch for the food.

On the hotel recommendation we went to dine at Zinfandels. The front side of the restaurant is completely open so you sit in the open but covered space, looking over the pedestrian street. We were welcomed by cheerful waiter who had the right balance between formal and friendly behavior. While he suggested what wine to take we felt the sommelier charm – he even gave us 3 different red wines to taste and then to decide. We chose Cljenak (Dalmatia red wine which is a „predecessor“of zinfandel). Try it! You can have wine by the glass. The food is delicious and comes in unusual combination (chicken with peas or shrimp burger or Belgian fries) and the portions are sufficient. For starters we took cheeses which are served with olives in olive oil. Cheeses were with rosemary, truffles, goat, figs,…The prices are common.

The wine, food, ambience and service at this wine bar are terrific! Firstly, they are probably the only place in Split that offer a large number of quality wines by the glass-Croatian and international. Secondly, they didn't have anything vegetarian on the menu but the chef cooked up a wonderful ravioli of goat cheese and spinach for me even though the restaurant was full and not a single table was available-meaning he was busy. Thirdly, my server was extremely knowledgeable about wines. Fourthly, the ambience is contemporary, trendy and comfortable and the clientele is chic. Prices are not outrageous. Location is in the Old Town and convenient. I recommend it highly.

Went here last night on recommendation and was not disappointed! Me and my partner chose a glass of wine (red and white) both of which we enjoyed and the waiter then chose 3 excellent further wines including from a bottle off menu. The waiter was able to inform us around the provenance and history of the wines which was informative and fun. The wines were all priced around 30kn a glass so were good value too. We also had the cheese and meat plate which was a great accompaniment and filling enough for dinner. Would definitely return!

Everything was good, service, food, interior, but 300 kunas for bottle of wine(not even with original label, but white one-we didn't knew what wine were drinking) it's bit too much! I know it was our mistake not to ask how much is bottle of wine, but concidering that the prices of food are average, wine is too expencive! I would go there again,'couse food is great, but this time I would drink just water:-))
