Stayed here for 2 nights, midweek. Got a fabulous room (303) with a lovely terrace, and extra room with chaise longe! Bathroom a little small, but adequate. Overlooks busy streets with bars, but noise fairly well controlled with double glazing and shutters. Not sure if other rooms might have been noisier as closer to the street. Bars shut at 01:00, so not too much of a bother unless you are a very early bird and light sleeper. Hotel is right in the heart of the old town and palace area, so you can't really beat it for location. Wifi in reception area. Breakfast is fairly basic. Coffee and tea cold, though we usually arrived close to the end of servings, so if you get there at 06:00 the water might well be hot! We would have spent all of our time in Split in this hotel, but room was already booked and we didn't really want to stay in one of the smaller rooms so we moved to Royal Apartments - will post about that later.
