My husband was ill on the plane and was taken into hospital in Split. I was alone and without my luggage. I couldnt have wished for more help from the staff at the Diana. They were really helpful, and caring. The rooms were great and the food and service was excellent. Lots of hot tea always served with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble.
After 4 days my husband was discharged and we spent our remaining few days there. Thank you Matthew and all the staff. We will return to your beautiful country soon.

Just arrived back from staying at the Villa Diana. We ended up in Room 5 which was on the top floor so the room was very small. Not what we expected. The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom so beware if you don't like small spaces. There was a strong smell coming through the drains in a our bathroom which was not pleasant. We did advise them off this when we arrived but they did not acknowledge this. The staff are friendly and its a quick walk to the port however it is on a very busy road so if you want a quiet location this is not it. You will be kept awake by the traffic as the windows are not double glazed. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff were friendly in the Restaurant.

This hotel is located within easy walking distance to the Diocletian Palace complex. The rooms were clean and attractive...nothing fancy though. The staff was extemely friendly and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place as we walked from the ferry port; a little old lady helped us by walking us to the hotel, so I would recommend mapping out directions beforehand if you plan on finding it yourself. However, once we knew where it was, it was easy to find and perfectly located without being in the busy noisy center of everything.

This hotel is situated ideally for travel on the ferry's to Hvar, Brac etc, and is only a 5 min walk from the bus station. The staff are friendly and the breakfast's are varied. An ideal spot when arriving in Split. We stayed in the attic room which is very small, but clean. The hotel is situated on a busy main road which means you don't get much sleep!! There is no place to sit outside unless you are having a drink on the terrace which is set back alittle from the road.

Loved Villa Diana! Small quiet hotel, close too town, location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful giving us advice on local sights, restaurants etc. Rooms good, with a great bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful, with the waiter and chef asking us what we wanted, then cooked to order. Recommended.
