We visited this restaurant in October towards the end of the season & clearly didn't see it at it's best. But on the positive side, because it was quiet we were able to talk for a while with the owner. She's quite a character, & it was interesting to hear her views on the way Croatia is moving forward & her experiences of the war. She also claimed that she never reads the Tripadvisor reviews, but was pleased when we told her that most of the reviews commented that her food was traditional & not fancy or posh.
That's what it is. The menu is predominantly grilled meats & fish. The food is tasty & the portions are big. She told us that in peak season the restaurant has more of a party atmosphere, & when everyone has finished eating they often move the tables back, turn up the music, & it becomes a night club. Next time we go we will make sure it's in June, July or August.
