This hotel has very afordable prices for Dubrovnik.
Ideal for travelers with tight budget.
This is a classic 3* accomodation.
Very well located.
Helpfull staff.
Breakfast was served individualy due to low number of visitors in february. But food was fresh and delicious.

good hotel overall, with friendly & helpful staff.the food was disappointingly below average.location good (opposite the harbour)air-con very good, room cleaned every day.all in all it is a good base to travel from to see Dubrovnic and the Croation sights. there are several scenic walks around the harbour and around the coast to enjoy and numerous buses to various destinations with the bus stop just across the road

Room Tip: choose a room on a high floor at the front of the hotel, they are quieter and you can see the cruise...

The building is a dated, and the equipment is too (in particular the air conditionning is a bit whimsical), but given the price of hotels in Dubrovnik this one is an excellent choice if you are not too demanding.

Rooms are clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you can get to the old town in 15 minutes (buses 1A, 1B or 3 leave just in front of the hotel, and run until late at night). There is a decent choice of restaurants around the hotel, due to the proximity of the port.

Room Tip: some rooms have a balcony overlooking the port.

As a first, great location a little bit out of city mess... Walking is 15 minutes walking away from city pool.
The hotel was very clean and tidy with lovely view over the harbour.
The staff was very helpful and smiling all time!
Breakfast, which was included, was very good with a lot of options!
Totally recommended!! :)

I was travelling on my own and they looked after me really well, and were more than happy to advise me about where to visit and what was in the immediate area.
The hotel was very clean and tidy with lovely views over the harbour, the restaurant downstairs is well worth a visit.
It is very convenient for both the bus in to the old town and the boat trips to the islands

Room Tip: The rooms with a sea view are worth the small extra cost

When we arrived at Hotel Petka (just after midnight), the concierge was waiting for us with our room keys and our free wi-fi passwords. Unfortunately, the double room that my friend and I had booked was not available so they put us in a triple, which was very spacious and clean (with a view of the port). Every day, the staff at the front desk greeted us with warm smiles. They were very open to questions and very helpful in giving advice and information. Breakfast, which was included, was very good and had hot and cold options at the buffet. Attached to the hotel, there is also a cafe/bar/restaurant with a patio right across from the harbour. The hotel is right across from the ferry and the local bus stop so it is really easy to get around Dubrovnik. We walked to the Old Town a few times, as it was very easy to get there, and it only took about 30 minutes. If you are looking for comfort, location, and friendly service at a reasonable price, try out Hotel Petka!

You don't want to drive in Dubrovnik, parking is an issue. We wanted to see the city and take the car ferry to Bari, Italy to continue our travels. This was a great spot for that. The hotel looks out over the marina and our ferry. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the port. The bus into the old city was also right in front of the hotel as well as the ticket office for the ferry. The cruise ships also park about a half mile away which can get pretty busy when they dump their guests for the day. Three of them came while we were there. The hotel was moderately priced with free parking. The rooms are a little dated and small but clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They spoke English so that was also helpful. The restaurant downstairs was good and I recommend the pasta with truffles. It was delicious. We ate there twice just for that. For ferry travelers and parking this is great, but if you are looking for old city charm I would look elsewhere.
