This hostel is at quick glance a hostel much like any others I've stayed at, however, once I was there I quickly realized it is much, much more and easily one of the best hostels I have stayed at.
What stood out for me the most about this hostel is Milka. She is amazing and has an amazing family to help her out. She takes you in and treats you like you are a long-lost friend or a dear family member. Whether she is loading up your plate with all you can eat french toast (for only 20 kuna!) or directing you to the local sights, she is amazing.
The hostel itself is kept clean by the great staff and has a very "refreshing" feel. The common room is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and free internet use/wifi. The hostel is located a little out of the way, however, close to several great beaches and only a 10 - 15 minute bus ride to the Old City. They provide great day trips to nearby Bosnia as one and Montenegro as another to name a few. You get to see highlights that you normally wouldn't on a more generic trip, and all for good prices.
Overall, I had an excellent experience there, met some great people and made some good friends. This hostel is made great by the "homey, family-feel" everyone brings to it.
