In a restored 400 year old stone building, Bokun Guesthouse offers a comfortable oasis, surrounded by gardens and fruit trees. Very peaceful. It is right beside Gruz harbour and the ferry terminal, and a 20-25 minute walk to the old city of Dubrovnik. Toni was very helpful with our arrangements, which were a bit more complicated than normal. Apartments and rooms are clean and well-appointed.

Room Tip: Apartment on the top floor has a terrace and great view of the harbour, gardens and neighbouring her...

Great value guesthouse in a good location for exploring Dubrovnik (right on harbour). The staff are super helpful, rooms are nice, and there are very cute cats and a dog! Lovely outdoor space, and good wifi.

When I arrived at Dubrovnik Airport, I was picked up and brought to the guesthouse. There they show me my lovely and clean room. The family Bokun, the dog and three lovely cats welcomed me and show me all of house and garden.
My breakfast was very good and served by Mr. Toni Bokun himself. He is a kind, friendly and helpful man, who told me a lot about the history of Dubrovnik.
The guesthouse is a very good place to start all excursions.
It was a very nice week and I will be back next year.

beautiful outside area to relax/hang out/use wifi/meet others, especially if good weather. very accessible location to old town and other parts of Dubrovnik. walk is about 25 min to old town, but bus stop 1 minute away comes very frequently and is 5-10 minute ride. host is very accommodating. breakfast is a good deal. one reallllly good restaurant 2 minutes walk away. one bus stop away from the main bus terminal, which is also near a few bar/cafes (in the other direction from the old town).

shower/bathroom was a bit small but standard for most places in croatia (in our experience).

overall, lovely experience and would stay there again if on a budget.

my husband and I have just enjoyed a lovely trip in this beautiful country. The guesthouse was so beautiful, a family run business set in an old stone house and utterly authentic. great location right on the harbour and close to the old town. enjoyed Dubrovnik as well as trips to Mostar in Bosnia and Kotor and Badva in Montenegro. loved every minute :)

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the guesthouse. We had an upstairs apartment with small kitchen and it was clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is quiet and in a great location if you don't want to be in the centre of the tourist trap that is Dubrovnik old town - It took us about 25 mins to walk to the old town but there is also a frequent and easy bus service. It is also handy for boat trips/public ferry to islands such as Kolocep & Lopud and the main bus terminal for getting to and from the airport. We used the guesthouse's airport pick up serivce as we didn't arrive 'til late, which was helpful. The owners are friendly, helpful and give good advice on how to get around/places to get/things to see etc.

We took the owners up on their offer of an airport pick up and found the lady who collected us polite and informative with suggestions of things to do and see.
The guesthouse was quiet and friendly with a dog and 3 kittens to entertain us while we ate our breakfast on the beautiful terrace.
The room were basic but the bedroom and ensuite were clean and the bed comfortable.
All in all a pleasant stay!
