“Excellent Pizza & Cappuccino!”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

I recently stayed at the Old Town Ivory Town Apartments in Dubrovnik & this wonderful pizzeria was on the ground floor. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was extremely friendly and the service was quick. This is a very casual outdoor restaurant right in the heart of old town Dubrovnik. Ingredients are fresh & servings are huge, well worth the money!

“It's pizza, but it's excellent pizza.”
Reviewed 23 July 2013 via mobile

Having spent 8 nights in Croatia, the most enjoyable night we had for food and service was at Pizzeria Domenica. We pledged an oath to our delightful waitress that we'd review the place, so duty fulfilled. She claimed their pizzas were the best in Dubrovnik. Big call, but as it eventuated the pizzas were superb. Very good quality toppings on a crisp, perfectly browned base. I had the salmon and anchovies, my sister, her husband and son, all vegetarian, had a margherita, the rocket, and a funghi. We were all equally pleased with our choices, though despite eating beyond the boundaries of common sense, we were unable to finish. This might have had something to do with the world's biggest Greek salad we had on the side. Our waitress had taunted us with "or is that too many vitamins?" but we aren't ones to back down from a challenge. It was a salad. A single salad between 4 (actually 3, as teenage boy is quite vitamin adverse) but then that had us crunching away toward inevitable failure and humiliation.

The only victory we savoured that night was to finish the second bottle of plavac mali Croatian red.

Prices were fairly standard for Dubrovnik. Pizzas ranged from 55-85HRK. The wine was around 150HRK per bottle. I can't recall what the rate was for the crate-load of salad vegetables and feta, but it was very reasonable. We'd definitely go back.
