Fine dining in wonderful places such as Dubrovnik (but also Venice, Paris, Amsterdam and so on) could be hard. This is not the case with both Café Royal and Defne restaurant. A welcoming staff will serve you a really good lunch or dinner (either you prefer meat or fish dishes) in a relaxing and frescoed hall at reasonable prices (consider you are in the heart of the city and in a four-star hotel). Excellent desserts oriented to tradition, i.e. baklava or lava cake (with maraschino, typical liqueur from Zadar).
