Having eaten at a few restaurants in old town Dubrovnik, I found most of them pretty similar in both menu and quality (generally good on both accounts). Unfortunately, most of them were also pretty pricey. Arka was a welcome exception; the quality was comparable but the cost a good bit lower. Service was good too. The dining choices in Dubrovnik are almost endless -- almost overwhelmingly so -- and I wouldn't plan my day around this one, but if the money outflow is starting to feel a bit much, this is a place to eat happily and affordably.
