“Quiet atmosphere with tasty food and very good service”
Reviewed 21 June 2013 via mobile

Away from the old city crowds with a neighborhood feel and located adjacent to part of the city wall, this konoba presented me a tasty antipasto plate and delicious fresh fish of the day with individual attention. Not the least expensive spot in the old city but certainly the calmest ambiance.

“This relaxing restaurant away from the crowds has a lot to offer”
Reviewed 18 June 2013

If you want to find a restaurant away from the crowds of Dubrovnik, but within the old city, (not an easy task) then this is the one for you. It had a lovely situation close to the walls, the food was very good and the service excellent. The menu was not too large, but gave a reasonable level of choice. We happened to find it quite by chance on the last day of our holiday and it provided an excellent end to what had been a very good trip.

“ve your bags on the ground because the flooring was soaking wet and ruined the contents of our bags!”
Reviewed 11 June 2013

It looked as if the restaurant had so much to offer. Near the city walls and off the tourist track. But it didn't turn out as nice as we expected. The waitresses were not attentive and far from friendly. The food was so-so at best and the prices (we should have guessed) were pretty steep.
Cost of a beer was 35 kuna - in Cavtat at my special bars it was 20 kuna.
We, like others placed our bags on the grass like flooring and found out that water had got into the bags and damaged the contents. Some folk had expensive cameras and were not best pleased!
We would never go back and wouldn't recommend the place even if it was the only place to eat in Dubrovnik!

“Off the beaten track and well worth visiting”
Reviewed 23 May 2013

We had seen this restaurant while walking the city walls and liked the look of it. It offered the attraction of being quiet and away from the teeming masses! It is not easy to find but well worth the hunt.

The staff are very pleasant and are pleased to explain the menu and not rush you.

My wife had the scampi risotto as a main meal and I had the grilled fish (tuna), which came with boiled potatoes, green beans and spinach. The vegetables are advertised as organic. We also had a 0.5l carafe of the house white wine which was excellent.

For dessert we shared the restaurant special which was a chocolate cake soaked in pineapple and served on a slice of pineapple.

Bread was free but there was a cover charge of 8k.

The total price was 296k and we each were given a glass of the restaurant's home-made cherry brandy which was excellent.

A very enjoyable meal in quiet surroundings and off the beaten track. Highly recommended.

“Quiet atmospheric restaurant w good food”
Reviewed 13 October 2012 via mobile

We were staying very close to this restaurant, and after a busy day sightseeing, we wanted a nice relaxing meal. This place was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Outdoors covered. Good food. I had the seafood risotto and a glass of house wine. Reasonable prices. Good portions. Good taste. Couldn't ask for anything more.
