It is certainly worth a visit. Much to see and read, I certainly came out understanding a lot more about the war. There was an outside cafe and great views over Dubrovnik.

Its not the greatest Museum, and certainly doesn't have the professional feel to it, but its raw, interesting, detailed and gives a really good perspective of what went on. Worth a stop by.

A museum works best when it provides a background to a story, not make an judgement. Unfortunately, this museum felt a little too one sided and partisan. I have no doubt that the horrors of 1991 are as outrageous now as they were then. However, the museum would be more affective if it didn't feel like a propaganda show and showed the human story of the war rather than the complicated military jargon and facts accompanying the imagery. The location and mood of this museum is amazing, to be actually there in the bunkers still surrounded by bullet holes and wartime graffiti. With some fine tuning this could become a brilliant museum! It's worth a look, but I hope can modernise a little to show to true tragedy of the 1991 war.

The content of this museum is chilling. However the way up to it is spectacular and there is a cafe with stunning views over the old town.

I cannot understand why anybody would have deliberately targetted this beautiful city during a war. The footage of the assault on Dubrovnik, (You can still see some of the scars in the old town today) is upsetting, but needs to be seen to comprehed just how much investment and effort has gone into restoring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortitude, determination and determination of the Croatians, and the residents of Dubrovnik and its environs, is remarkable, and they are also one of the most welcoming and happy people we have had the pleasure of meeting. Respect!
