This was a refreshing place to eat and a nice alternative to the other meals we’d been having in Croatia. We loved it. Not large, but outdoor seating was quite pleasant with a view of the Cathedral. Very fresh oysters priced at a little under $2 each from Shot, a town not too far north of Dubrovnik where a major area river empties into the Adriatic. For that reason the oysters are not overly briny, but quite favorable. So was the sushi --- although maki rolls come with only four pieces. Nigiri sushi was also good (and very much similar to cuts and styles we are accustomed to a numerous sushi restaurants in the US), but the real standout was tuna tartar that was excellently seasoned and fresh amberjack (a local, popular fish) that was thinly diced into almost tartar consistency, that was nicely seasoned with pepper, capers and a light splash of lemon juice. Prices were reasonable and in keeping with the general pricing at other restaurants in Dubrovnik, and the cool breezes coming through the passageways on a very hot day just made it all that much better. We found the to be a very positive lunchtime experience.
