“Lovely apartment in excellent location”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Apartment is located about 10 minutes walk from the old town & 5 minutes from the nearest beach. Jelena was very friendly and easy to contact to make arrangements with. Dubrovnik and the coast are beautiful and we`ll definitely be making a return trip.

“If you could pick a position to view the "walled old city od Dubrovnik" it would be fro the balcony of this Apartment.”
Reviewed 18 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

A very clean, tidy and spacious apartment overlooking the harbour and old city of Dubrovnik. The owner Jelena arranged for us to be met at the airport which is only 30 minutes drive to apartment. The walk down to the old city is either about 1200M down moderately step hill or 500M +_about 100 steps so you need to be reasonably fit. (Although I am 64 and not that fit and could walk back up in 20 minutes). The Croatian people were all extremely friendly and there are dozens of excellent bars and restaurants inside and out of the old walled city. We would recommend daytrips to Montenegro, Bosnia (Mostar) and the 3 Islands boat tour. Thankyou again Jelena for providing a great holiday Apartment.

“Fantastic Apartment”
Reviewed 7 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We had a great stay at "Elena Suite". It is 10 minutes walk from the Old town and has a lovely view from the terrace. It was a very well equipped apartment and there was plenty of space for 2 people. Someone had written about there being some noise - there is some traffic but it is only to be expected so close to the Old town, and we slept very peacefully. There are a lot of steps, but that applies for the whole of Dubrovnik! Jelena was very helpful and offered to arrange a transfer from the airport, and brought us extra towels during the week, and was easy to contact. We had a really lovely time here and would highly recommend it!

“amazing view, great flat, shame about the traffic”
Reviewed 21 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed here for a week. The view is unbeatable, flat has every comfort. 10 minutes downhill to the old town gates, 15 minute slog uphill to come back. No problem if you are fit. This lovely apartment is accessed directly from a major road, up a flight of external steps to the first floor. Underneath are empty shop units. The rooms are light and airy, the tv has several english language stations including bbc entertainment, the air conditioning unit is in the kitchen/diner/lounge. We were told that if we had put it on full it would have cooled the
bedroom. The patio doors from the flat lead on to the terrace with the wonderful views over the old town, the sunset views are especially good, and also at night when the old town is lit up. Magical -but buses, lorries, bikes, cars all fly by, going up-hill, just below the balcony level and the noise was wearing. Jelena, the owner was exceptionally helpful, arranging friendly transport by taxi from and to the airport for 30 euros each way. Worth it for hassle free trips. The flat has a supermarket nearby and the old town is full of restaurants and cafes. Kayaking around lokrum island was brill, the cable car is 10 minutes downhill, just before thr old town gates. I would recommend this apartment but please note the traffic noise, although the windows are double glazed, and the bathroom is internal with no air extraction system. Would I have come here knowing these negative points. Probably

Management Response

thank you for staying in may apartment.I want to say that really i am sorry what you disappointed with accommodation because of traffic near by.All i just want to explain that apartment is located in the city,so it is possible to avoid traffic near apartment if you choose accommodation in Old Town where is night life(caffee bars, restaurants etc)or some apartment below street but than you have to use stairs!!Apartment has double glazed and in last 3 years nobody complained about traffic and noisy, actually i have lot of review for apartment on other sites and excellent badge and really nobody complained.During the night is quiet and only big traffic is at the morning when everyone goes to jobs, buses passing with tourist from cruise ships etc.I will think to put glass on the balcony to avoid negative points in the future. So please if anyone expecting quiet vacation in the city...well it is very hard.

“Perfect view, perfect location & perfect apartment”

This apartment one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! It's bright and modern with good furniture, a very functional kitchen, air-conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, lots of cupboard and storage space and a large bedroom with huge and comfortable bed. Also some nice touches such as candles, ornaments, paintings etc. Looks better than in the photos.
The landlady, Jelena, is very friendly, greeted us warmly, gave relevant advice about local sights and has maps and other tourist information at the apartment.
Probably the best aspect is the amazing view of the old town of Dubrovnik from the balcony. It's a 10 min walk to the old town and the Pemo supermarket is about 50m away. The Biker's cafe is next door to the supermarket and serves good coffee at local prices, unlike in the old town where you can expect to pay double.

Also free wifi, cable TV, double glazed windows and aluminium shutters, heaps of towels, including beach towels, soap....the list goes on.

Would definitely stay here again.

“lovely view of Dubrovnik from comfortable apartment”

We arrived at Apt Mediteran from the airport in our hire car, were met by Jelena who parked the car for us and helped carry our bags up the steps to the apartment - she was a lovely host with lots of information about the area and Croatia in general. The apartment was clean and comfortable and only 10 minutes walk downhill to the old town of Dubrovnik which was the highlight of our trip to Croatia. We loved it. From the apartment balcony you can have breakfast and watch the cruise ships, ferries, yachts etc. Although on a main street with a good lot of traffic the noise was not intrusive (double glazing) and it was a residential area with no noisy bars etc. Anyway the view and the ease of walking into Dubrovnik made up for any traffic noise. Would definitely return to Apt Mediteran.
