“Lovely evening!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Lived up to it's reputation! Our waitress was fabulous and made excellent recommendations, especially with the wine which was superb. We both started with the risotto which was delicious and beautifully arrived in kiln jars which kept it hot and was rather quirky.
The staff clearly enjoyed working there and they enhanced the atmosphere.
I recommend this restaurant whole heartedly. We had a lovely evening.

“Limited menu but lovely food”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

We visited for lunch and to book for the following evening. It's the same menus for both lunch and dinner. For lunch we just had starters which were increased in size at no extra cost. We were the only customers whilst we were there and were slightly worried it might not be busy for dinner. The following evening we were pleased we had booked as it was full.
The menu is restricted to just a few choices but everything we had was superb and the wine was equally good.
Due to the restricted menu we wouldn't go more than twice in a week but would highly recommend at least one visit.

“Loved it! ”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

This place is so nice, we both absolutely loved it! It's such a pretty Restaraunt, so romantic. I would definitely make a reservation in future though, we hadn't and were lucky to get an outdoor table after waiting 10mins, couples who came after us had to sit inside or wait over 30mins as they also had not booked. And in this place, the outdoor tables are the best, it's on a quiet enough street anyway but the courtyard area is surrounded by plants so it's still blocked off from the street without feeling closed in or small. The staff were great also, first place we'd been to here that the staff were genuinely so friendly and helpful. The only thing is the menu is small, not much selection if you have any requirements (eg vegetarian) but the food is so good and well prepared that it doesn't matter, you'll enjoy it!

“Romantic”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

My boyfriend and I went to this place after reading about it on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is located 20 min. walk from the old town, close to the harbor. As you may understand, the location is a little bit off, but I strongly recommend visiting this lovely place anyway. The atmosphere is very romantic. It was almost exclusively couples in the restaurant. The lightning was muted, and low soft music was playing. We had main course and dessert. For main course we both ordered the rump steak. The rump steak was tender and very tasteful. To go with the rump steak we enjoyed a glass of red wine, and the waiter’s recommendation was a big hit. For dessert we shared the chocolate fondant, and that was a perfect ending of our romantic evening out.

“Good but ??”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

This restaurant is fine but I believe there are many better in Dubrovnik. My wife & I both thought it was OK but we both agreed that we find it difficult to see how it can be ranked number 4. Although I see it is down to 7 today.
The service is good and the food is reasonable but not top class.
The starters were good. My wife's rib-eye steak was cooked to perfection i.e. rare is rare & not well done, but it wasn't a particularly good cut and had no taste at all. My duck was better but not my raw potatoes.
If you do go you MUST book ahead.

Price-wise, it's average for Lapad/Dubrovnik so to then have average food is simply not number 4 (or 7) in my opinion. Good maybe worth a visit but not the best.
