Went in a couple of times and found the staff unfriendly and unwelcoming. Took a while to get served, for no reason?

Irish Breakfast non existent . Tried to get an English or Irish breakfast this morning at Dubrovnik , that proved impossible , the nearest we got was this Irish bar , a bacon and egg roll and the bacon was disgusting , enough oil on it to change the oil on your car , my wife left most of it and I could not eat the roll , it was that tough and heavy . I did ask for a full Irish breakfast , all they did was chuck a load of menus in front of me with no breakfast on them , in other words that is all we do , like it or lump it ... They could make plenty of money out of doing a good Irish or English breakfast here in this area because nobody else has had the brain wave yet to do it and there is plenty of tourist that would buy them , providing that they got a decent chef in with a caring attitude . With the do not care attitude in this bar , I cannot see that happening though .
To correct a previous review that I have read , this [ The Gaffe Pub ] is no longer owned by an English person , as I was going to complain to the English owner . It is now owned by a local .
We visited the gaffe quite a few times during our week in Dubrovnik. The decor is Irish bar themed but to be honest that's where the theme ends. Quite a busy little bar, not enough outdoor seating however it is located in quite a narrow street therefore it may not be possible. We originally searched out this bar as it is one of the only places in the city to have sports coverage, however the commentary wasnt played along with this. Popular with "locals" and on one occasion it got a little but loud and lively for me, but on the whole a good little spot
We visited here a few nights as it had good atmosphere, selection of drinks and good musician playing a selection of mainly american rock classics and odd Irish song. Staff where efficient but not very friendly. It felt like a pub compared to other so called Irish bars. It had good buzz and busy every night. Drink was reasonable priced.
Munster final day in a so called irish pub with game on t.v. But on silent with 4 Croatian staff almost fighting over the jukebox. Don't waste your time or kuna in this non irish pub with average grub at best to boot!
