“Perfect!”

This was a great experience! This studio is located inside the city walls, in a narrow and beautiful street.
The highlight was the kindness of the owners, Roberto and his parents, 3 amazing people.
Besides that, the room is large, clean, it has a small kitchen where you can cook, the bathroom is also good.
I was sad to depart and hope to return there. If I go back to dubrovnik, I will choose again this place.
5 stars! Thanks Roberto/Ana/Peter!

“absolute brilliant”
Reviewed 31 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

As the other reviews said and more. This was the most homely and relaxing stay, made possible by Roberto and his family, generous with their time and love for being kind to their guests without being intrusive. We would never stay in a hotel if we could get such fabulous treatment. Everything is there that you could want in this studio apartment I was really broken hearted to leave.

“cozy spot in the old city”

Our trip to Dubrovnik started at the airport with Roberto waiting for us with my name on a sign just like he said he would do. He drove us to his home in the old city and helped us haul our bags down to the house from the parking above the old wall. The studio is below his home on ground level. It is compact, but was sufficient for us with a small kitchen area, table and chairs and a very comfortable bed. It was spotless and we had good internet connection which we really appreciated after having bad connections for quite awhile. If we had any problems Roberto was always ready to take care of them. He was friendly and helpful and several times brought us some different types of homemade alcoholic brew to try. I am an artist so he took us to visit his friends who are artists. That was really special. Please be aware that almost anywhere you stay in Dubrovnik you will be climbing up and down hills. This apartment was no exception, just that it was less stairs than the places above the old city. I am 65 and personally enjoyed climbing the stairs as a form of exercise.

“Just what we wanted”

The owner, Robert, was lovely, helpful and spoke perfect English. He lives upstairs. There is a shared front door which is locked then a lock on the door to the studio too.
The apartment was in the old town,100 steps up one of the beautiful (paedestrian only) streets - you can't escape steps in Dubrovnik, the key is just to pack lightly!
The kitchenette was simple but all you need for cooking up a basic meal. There is a supermarket in the old town near in the market square which is open 7 days a week.
Towels were provided and Robert offered to swap them over after a couple of days.
Bed was fine and sheets were clean.
Great to hang out inside the old town in the evenings when tourists leave and it cools down. The restaurants are all buzzing late into the night although it can't be heard from the apartment at all.
I was nervous to book because of the lack of reviews but I found out that it was only put on Trip Advisor this year, although he has rented it out for the last few years.

“Fantastic accommodation, right in the heart of the old city”

We stayed at this studio in August 2012 and found it to be a fantastic place. The whole studio is fresh and clean and has recently been renovated. It has been leased for approximately four years however only recently on TA.

The owners are friendly and always willing to provide advice or assistance to the guests and made us feel welcome. The kitchenette is great with all of the modern cons and it was very handy to have a fridge / freezer during our trip. The apartment doesn't appear to get too hot, due to being in a fairly covered street, however there's also A/C which works wonderfully!

The internet is fast and very convenient and the location is just a short walk away from the cable car, beaches, restaurants and bus stop.

There's a few stairs to get to this apartment (about 100), however we discovered that it's a lot easier to get to if you use the Northern entrance to the old city (There are three entrances in total). It is still however probably not as suitable for elderly, lazy or mobility impaired people.

I would recommend this apartment and we loved our stay - cheaper than a hotel and much better!
