This review is a year and a half late, but I was surprised the Heritage Shop had no reviews yet. It definitely deserves one so better late than never. I came upon this small but wonderful arts and crafts shop by accident on the way to the Dubrovnik Cable Car. It is located diagonally across the street from the lower entrance to the cable car. When I was there in the fall of 2012, it carried a range of products, from ceramics to small paintings to metallic and wooden sculptures. From what I could tell, almost everything was hand-made by local artists and unique. I bought a ceramic bell-shaped candle holder and a ceramic olive-shaped lidded jar. Not the easiest souvenirs to travel all over Croatia with, but I'm really glad I did because I didn't see anything like them again during the rest of my trip in Croatia. The prices were moderate. Not "bargains," but not expensive either. If you are disappointed by the cheesy shops on the Stradum (as I was), try this place, especially if you're planning on riding the cable car.
