Stayed 4 nights at this hotel in October and was very impressed. The location is great about a 15 minute walk to the old town. The private beach is a bonus, the pool and spa facilities are good too but the pool was too cold for me. The staff were all friendly and helpful at the hotel. Our room was good with a balcony with a great view of the Adriatic coast. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and there was a good choice available with made to order options available too. Dubrovnik is a great place to visit with lots to see. We had a wonderful trip and would love to stay at this hotel again.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Hotel Bellevue in Dubrovnik, 8 of us travelled in all to celebrate a number of 40ths. Dubrovnik was a fantastic location and the Bellevue was fabulous. It is exactly a mile to walk into the old town, downhill on the way there, slightly more tiring on the way back, especially in heels after much croatian wine!
The hotel was great, really attractively furnished, very contemporary, really helpful friendly staff, who coped really well with our party of 8. Fabulous rooms, comfortable beds, great views. My husband and I loved our spa treatment. The cocktail of the day was a must. Would not hesitate to return.
I agree with previous reviewers that walking on the pebble beach barefoot is uncomfortable, but well worth it to swim in the beautiful adriatic. We hope very much to return one day.

Stayed 5 nights at this well located and very comfortable hotel. Every room has a view of the Adriatic Sea...what a sight! The rooms are big, well stocked with toiletries, bedroom slippers, bathrobes and everything worked well. The private beach is such a gem being located in a cove. Daily breakfasts were both a feast for the eyes and tummy - beautiful view of the cliffs/sea and quality food. The in-door pool was fairly big and the jacuzzi nice and warm. All being said, we had to plan our time carefully to enjoy the hotel's facilities. Dubronvik had much to offer besides its old walled city which is very well maintained and pretty. We did day trips to Mostar, Montenegro, Ston/Mali Ston.... All worth visiting. Vapor the hotel's restaurant serves very good food although it is pricey by Croatia standards. The most reasonable and excellent meals we have enjoyed in this vicinity were in Ston (Sogro) and Mali Ston (KapetanNova Kuca). Seafood black risotto, tagliatelle, raw oysters and fresh fish/she'll fish are freshly supplied daily! Cheap Dubronvik Tours is a very reasonable and reliable private tour operator. Their van was comfortable and driver was experienced and safe.

Great hotel, got upgraded when I arrived straight away. Prefect location, around 15 mins walk to the old city. Right next door to the casino.
Had dinner there on the first night and it was wonderful. Service was prefect and the beach was unbelievable. Having cocktails all day on the beach. Will 100% stay there again

We need a suite because our daughter was flying in to meet us in Dubrovnik. Wow...what we suite that we had! It was on the fourth floor with a nice balcony and a incredible view of the beach and water below. Such nice added touches included flower, candy and fruit! The room was so beautiful with two flat screen TVs and two well appointed bathrooms. The room and the service was outstanding...they helped us organize a car to drive to Split. Really..one of the nicest places we stayed in Europe!!! The spa was great too!!!!

Room Tip: I think it was 412....it was the suite in the corner on the fourth floor.

First off, I have to say how happy we were that this hotel was NOT in old town. Don't get me wrong, we really liked old town and went into town each day for sightseeing, dinner, etc but we would not want to stay in or closer to old town - its so busy and crowded. As others have noted, Hotel Bellevue is about a half mile north of Old town. Its also located about half mile south of the new marina area so its very centrally located. Our room, as every room at Hotel Bellevue, had a very nice view of the Adriatic - both from inside the room and the lovely balcony. The room itself was pretty good size and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big enough for two people to get ready at the same time. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi which was nice and the included breakfast was really nice. It was also great to be able to take breakfast overlooking the sea. We spent a few days at the beach and the pool - indoor pool located on a different level but it still has the nice view.

The only reason why I gave this hotel a 4 and not 5 stars is because there were a few small things that could be improved. For one, some of the towels seem to be quite well used - one of the bath towels had a hole in it. Another is that the cleaning crew works really early and you might be able to hear them in the hallway while you're still in bed.

Overall, really happy about our experience with this hotel. I would not let any of the negatives to prevent you from staying at this great hotel.

Wow - what a place.

We stayed for 3 night while visiting Dubrovnik. The view from our room on the 1st (lowest) floor was stunning. Room was briliant! Nice big comfortable bed, large bathroom and a separate sort of living room area, plus the balcony. It was divine!
Super clean, very well looked after. L'occitane products. Big fluffy towels.

The service was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. Always with a smile.
Breakfast included was awesome. Out on the hotel's deck looking out over the stunning view. The food at b'fast was great too. Plenty to choose from, and more to order if you needed.

The hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk up the hill from the old town. A really great place to stay if exploring Dubrovnik. Not too far away, but far away enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Perfect Location really.

Private beach with sun chairs and towels also is a bonus.

Had a great stay here, and will be back! Seriously good hotel!

We didn't eat here (apart from b'fast), making the short walk down the hill to the old town each night for dinner. Or use the pool and spa area - why would you use the indoor pool when they private beach is there!
