A great hotel in a perfect location. What stunning views, and the crystal clear waters off the private beach were fantastic for swimming and snorkelling. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were very well done out, and very clean. The Old Town is not 15 minutes walk away, although stopping to admire the views tended to make it a bit longer. This meant you could wander down to the Old Town and harbour to admire all the little shops and restaurants but when you had enough it was quick to retreat to the quite and peacefulness of the hotel.

Do not forget to try the nearby (less than 100 meters away) Magellan Restaurant. It is well worth the effort.

We were there is mid october, and although the hotel was fairly quiet guest wise, the staff couldn't have been more attentive, or the atmoshphere any more perfect. The beach is gorgeous and the hotel is a 20 min walk from old town and Gruz harbour. It is a perfect place to stay outside the old town.

What a wonderful hotel in all aspects! The hotel in it selv, the view, the room, the people, the restaurant, the spa, the beach!. Everything was just perfect. We were 02 couples and the had the most lovely stay. We had reserved a double room and for our surprise we were upgraded to a suite! What a room, or I would say a apartment! we had a huge living-room with a dinner table, a wonderful bedroom, a full bathroom and a extra toilet. We stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed everythingthing the hotel had to offer. The restaurant Vapor is fantastic! We had dinner there everynight. the restaurant on the beach was really good as well. The beach wonderful ,with umbrellas and beds. what a treat. I have to mention the cave that is a few meters from the beach. so beautiful! The spa, fantastic! Ask for Mia, what a wonderful massage! Anyway, I would recommend and we will be back!

My husband and I stayed here on the very last night of our honeymoon before we departed. We were disappointed we only had one night to spend in this hotel. The service was exceptional, and we were greeted with a bottle of champagne on ice and a vase of roses to celebrate our honeymoon. The seaview room with a balcony was lovely, and had a truly wonderful view. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk to the old city, or a quick bus ride. The buffet breakfast is excellent. For the 24 hours we stayed here, we were extremely impressed and hope to be back!

We just had a wonderful 3 day stay here. Beautiful hotel, situated right over the water- i think all the rooms have ocean view, and balcony doors that open to the sea- we slept to the lovely sound of waves crashing below. There was a great breakfast buffet, always fresh and delicious, and the service was great. The location was perfect-easy walk to the Old Town, and fun to explore in all directions. The staff was great-very courteous and super helpful- even tossed our shoes and socks in the drier after they got soaked in the rain! (and returned them to us neatly arranged in a basket!). We would absolutely recommend this hotel!

I really can't say anything negative about Hotel Bellevue. It's a large resort type of hotel where as I prefer the intimate boutique type. Had a room with a balcony and the view was amazing but it wasn't very private as there was only a frosted partition between you and your neighbor. Being right on the sea and having an elevator to take you down, are what I considered the best part of the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good too. For the money spent on the room, I'm sure that we could find some place right on the sea much less expensive. The staff is always right there and I'm sure that they would bend over backwards to assist, and the rooms are clean. The spa was nice if that's your thing. The sea is magnificent and just to be able to swim in it on a daily basis was phenomenal! All in all it is a very nice hotel, something I would expect to see in an American city and not in Dubrovnik. Too modern looking. If we didn't have a balcony room I wouldn't rate it nearly as high as I did.

Room Tip: Get a balcony. A View like that is worth a million bucks!
