This is a terrific place to stay. Small with well groomed and polite staff for whom nothing is any trouble. It's modern and on the coast with its own wharf and Riva type boat to take you into Dubrovnik. The guests are polite and well heeled.
No problems with anything--air con worked well, wifi good and the views are spectacular.
After a half day in Dubrovnik we decided to retreat to the hotel and didn't bother venturing back in. Dubrovnik was interesting enough but it is extremely crowded with budget tourists in great swarms bringing with them cheap and standardised dining and junky souvenir shops of the type found all over southern Europe. It was approaching Venice in Summer such were the crowds. If you were interested in Dubrovnik, then mid Winter might be better as Venice now is.
So if you are coming to Dubrovnik and you are not concerned too much about price, this is the place: no package tourists and a quiet ambience in luxury surroundings.
I wouldn't bother coming back to Dubrovnik but if I did I would stay here and suggest you do too.More
