Stayed here in early June. Rooms were a little small, but very clean and modern. Make sure you get a sea "front" room not a sea "view" room. Free internet and breakfast buffet was good. Resort style hotel with free access to sun lounges and towels and a private beach - no sand!! Service was very good. Only 10 minutes to Dubrovnik old town by bus which runs every 15 mins. Overall well recommended to anyone wanting to spend a few days seeing the town and also combining a little swimming and book reading.

We stayed here for seven nights and every day was a pleasure in this hotel.

The room we got was just out of this world, a complete 180 degree panoramic view of the sea and islands, i could have spent most evenings on the balcony with a glass of wine just soaking up the view and watching the many ships and boats go by.

The hotel has two restaurants, we didnt got to the buffet restaurant but we did eat at the restaurant Zoe on two nights, the food was not great but still nice, and the setting makes up for any lack of zest in the food, catch this place just as the sun goes down and it's almost magical.
The beach bar is pricey but they do serve great cocktails and the service is friendly and helpful, although they they did have the habit of closing at 11:30 when they are advertised as staying open until 01:00

We spent a few days without even going near the Old Town, taking the lovely coastal path with leads from the hotel to a few great restaurants and beach bars.
When we did go to the Old Town, we got our tickets at the hotel and the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The journey to Old Town can vary from 15mins to 25mins, great scenery along the way however.

Only on the day of our checkout did I get slightly annoyed with the staff, check out time is 12:00 but staff barged straight in to our room on three occasions before even 11:30 without even knocking.
I wont let that ruin my memories of this place however, an excellent hotel and a fantastic location, i will return again and again.

My colleague and I took part in a one week summer school at the Importanne Resort and therefore had decided to stay at the cheaper Neptun Hotel. The whole atmosphere was great, we loved the room, the sea view, the breakfast, the friendly helpful staff, the wonderful old city of Dubrovnik and of course the lectures of the summer school.
Everything was perfect. The only slight negative aspect was that you have to take the bus to get to the old town (about 20 min bus ride).
I would definitely stay there again and can recommend this hotel to anyone who's on a city trip. Maybe you'll find a better hotel for your beach holidays because there is no real beach, only a concrete one (but I think it's typical for this region).

After much debate we picked this hotel for our honeymoon as the reviews on the booking engine were so good.
It did not let us down. The hotel is in a great location 10mins from the old town via the local bus and tickets can be bought at the reception desk which just makes it so easy. Its about €1.20 for a ticket one way which is very cheap!
The hotel itself was lovely and they gave us a beautiful room with a great view, very spacious.
The staff were amazingly friendly and all spoke very good english. The restaurant served lovely food pretty much all day and the beach bar was great having servers running from the bar down to the pool and back with drinks.
The swimming area is great having steps into the sea itself and a pool for those who are less adventurous like myself!
The hotel is also very near some man made stone beaches which we did not dicover until the last day so if you are going ask reception to direct you or walk down past the hotel to the next little hotel the president and you will find the beaches.
Oh and try the craotian wine its amazing!
All in all a fantastic hotel and a great honeymoon!

We were upgraded to one of the luxury sea view rooms with a balcony which was lovely, spacious and luxurious, absolutely nothing to complain about. The highlight of our stay was the cocktails in the beach bar which were to die for!

Myself and a friend stayed May 16th - 20th 2008, this hotel is the best, rooms are spotless, the hotel is spotless, staff cannot do enough for you. dont leave without having a massage, best one I've had in years and quite cheap. We regretted not booking full board as we heard the food in the evening was outstanding, we went into Durovnik every day and had dinner before returning, what a ripp off we were paying anything up to €30.00 each for a main course the Neptun was no where near as expensive.
There is a bus stop just up the road from the hotel with a bus every 15 mins right up to 11pm that will take you into Durovnik (who needs a car), lovely pool area out to the back of the hotel overlooking the ocean very relaxing and quiet.
Please dont hesitate if your thinking about booking I promise you wont regret it.
