“First rate - a must see.”
Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

We wandered into Clara Stones during our 7 day stay in Dubrovnik. The staff at the workshop gave us an amazing private education about the Adriatic coral, how it is harvested, polished, etc. Our 9 year old was total into the lesson and the staff gave her a piece of coral to keep as a memory. The jewelry is beautiful and very high quality. In Miami, they would be able to charge double or triple for their handcrafted pieces. We bought a few things and we are looking forward to their online store opening soon.

“Beautiful Jewelery”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

I was recently on a cruise and visited many ports. While in Dubrovnik we came across this small shop on a side alley. Vittorio Ceccarini, director and owner is incredible. The pieces are so unique and beautiful. I purchased a set of earrings to match a Mediterranean coral ring purchased in Sorrento, Italy. They are so unique and eye catching. They will also show you how the coral is polished and fashioned into jewelry. Be sure to look at both shops on either side of the alley!

“You get what you pay for and this one is worth it”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Two beautiful jewelry stores just across the alley from each other. One is lower priced and the other is full of gorgeous, wonderful jewelry that is priced well. I bought a necklace with charms dangling in a cluster. The jewelry is authentic and not the usual tourist trap stuff that you see in every store. Beautiful designs that can be enjoyed when you get home. You will NOT wonder why you ever bought it!

“Beautiful jewellery”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Owner Vittorio Ceccarini knows his stuff! I got quite an education on various types of coral, where they're found and how they're shaped. He then took what I liked most from three differs pairs of earrings and made a perfect pair for me. An absolute must do for anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

“The best shop in town”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

It is all about art and its expression. From simple unique coral, to sophisticated precious gem jewelleries, all created by the passionate young owners Anja and Vittorio, with the help of their assistant Nicolas.
Their work is following the tradition of the Mediterranean ornaments through history, from the time of the Dubrovnik republic to this very day. The red coral is the symbol of vitality and protective charm all over the Mediterranean. The tradition in Dubrovnik is to offer a small coral bracelet to a new born baby, for luck and futur happiness in life.
A place one needs to be when in the old town of Dubrovnik.
