The Palace lives up to a strong four star rating. Good pools but the cleverly crafted rock areas allowing you to sun bathe then fall into the sea are even better. Great views from all rooms and the suite we had was really spacious. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the concierge work is good. Several restaurants serving fresh "local" food and the prices are not too aggressive. You can take #4 bus into the Old City for about £1 and it takes about 15 minutes. Other guests seem to be a few Brits, Japanese, Finns and Russians - the last group rather like to towel-hog dinners from early morning. A very relaxing hotel.
