“A first visit to Croatia and Hotel”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Fantastic hotel with very efficient and pleasant staff who can not do enough for your stay with them. Easy access to Dubrovnik Old Town.
Please be aware that prices that some people quote for meals out and bus fares vary depending on exchange rate for English pound to Kuna. Found no problem with accessing Kuna currency through plenty of bank machines in old town. Only needed Euros on trip to Montenegro which we found not a place to visit and waste your money on.
We booked our trips out direct with hotel which worked out cheaper than going with tour reps. Hotel staff who booked our trips was very efficient and informative.
Go to this hotel and enjoy!

Room Tip: We had a junior suite 504 and enjoyed it.

Just returned from this hotel having spent 4 days there. Fantastic hotel with stunning views from all the rooms (higher floors have a better view). Hotel about 4km from Dubrovnic Town but the local bus stops outside the hotel entrance and is quite a regular service and takes approx 10 mins to the town. Staff all very pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast buffet very extensive with an excellent choice both hot and cold. Indoor pool very inviting also with a stunning view out to sea. The outdoor pools are lovely (rather on the cold side) but would imagine that these warm up during the main summer months, but still quite refreshing for a swim with a nice swim up bar. Dubrovnic town is a lovely walled city, very clean with an excellent choice of places to eat. One of the nicest places I have visited Will definitely return and would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better view but all bedrooms face out overlooking the stunning sea

I have just returned from the hotel two days ago. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room had a lovely view across the sea and was very relaxing. Indoor pool great and quite large. Only drawback for me was the distance into town but the bus stops directly outside and was nice and cheap, suspect this may be busy in the summer but no complaints in May. Would definitely go to this hotel again.

Room Tip: higher up the better

Stayed 3 nights here - we booked a Junior Suite on Orbitz - there was a Buy 2, get 3rd night free promo & a 15% off coupon (google it - you should be able to find one for Orbitz) which made the stay very reasonably priced.

Would recommend the Junior Suite - 2 full bathrooms, living room with sofabed (separate room) and bedroom. Decent sized balcony.

Ask for a room on the 7th or 8th floor - we were on the 6th floor & there were some trees that obstructed the view of the water a bit - would recommend trying to be on 7 or 8th floor if possible.

Great breakfast spread (tip: ask for fresh squeezed OJ from the waiter instead of the buffet orange juice, so much better - also, the hard-boiled eggs were really good - very good yellows & whites) - and breakfast is included for everyone, a huge buffet with fresh fruit, breakfast meats, pancakes, eggs to order, breakfast breads. The chocolate croissants were actually nutella croissants, so be aware of that if you don't like nutella.

There's free wifi & free parking. Room service was very friendly & quick.

Pool area was nice & good for sunning - the pool bar was reasonably priced as well.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill. There's the #4 bus that goes from there to the old-town castle district - but it's about a 30 minute walked. We walked there & back as the weather is beautiful. Down the hill, past the park with a public waterslide, there's a bunch of restaurants that were really good as well.

Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room on the 7th or 8th floor if available.

Clean, great views, pleasant staff and great sun deck and pool. The rooms were narrow but fully functional with great design so compact but did not feel squashed in and great beds and a sea view with balcony. Our room was 540 and the sunset was fabulous every night. Breakfast was served as buffet but the quality of the food was really good in fact too good...easy to go mad lol. Service good and view from restaurant gorgeous.
We hired a car and found ample parking ....but for going into the old town the local bus stops right outside hotel door and drops you in centre of the old city. This runs every 20mins and is £2 each way. Only thing I did miss was tea making in room...but managed apologised and said staff should have told me free room service for tea and coffee. I have reviewed many hotels but for four nights in this area this hotel hit all the needs we had ......I really could not find anything wrong with it oh wait....floor levels.....reception was on top floor and had to go down to level five had a few funny lift rides with people not sure if they should be going up or down lol but hey ho.

Room Tip: Wheel chair access was good and even though 15 min bus ride to city was nicer than being in centre...

I visited the hotel for a business conference in April and I had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is new with all the facilities you need. Nicely located on the water front with nice pools.
Rooms were ok, small but nice. The staff were polite and ready to help.

Room Tip: You want to be as high a you can, all rooms have the same view

Stayed here with a friend recently and found everything here to be of a really high standard. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There were a couple of minor hiccups with the room initially which was speedily dealt with. The views were outstanding from every vantage point. The pools indoor and out were lovely and the grounds well kept and pretty. I agree that lunchtime options for food were limited but we tended to go into town anyway. We stayed on bed and breakfast but did opt for a buffet meal one evening which was plentiful and delicious. All in all a brilliant stay and would definitely return.
